Working as Senior Engineer / Field Engineer on “Gomal Zam Dam Command Area Development Project” of Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Cooperative, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Project is multi-purpose and comprised of six major components; 1) watercourse development that includes construction of earthen and lined watercourse along with allied community, water control and cross drainage structures, 2) Installation and demonstration of high
Efficiency irrigation systems, 3) precision land leveling with laser technology, 4) construction of farm to market link roads, 5) construction of multi-purpose earthen ponds, and 6) demonstration of furrow irrigation system in all watercourse command areas.
       Activities Performed:
·      Estimates, supervision of watercourses with allied structures and water storages ponds.
·      Conducted material inspections/verification at sites according to approved standards and specifications for quantity as well as quality aspects, delivered at the scheme area/site.
·      Conducted spot checks during and after materials installation at the scheme area/site, to enhance the quality of work and to ensure the best performance of the system.
·      Reviewed/Checked and approved design and cost estimates of lined and un-lined watercourses along with allied structures (Buffalo Wallow, Washing Pads, Arch/Slab Culverts, Turnouts, and Nuccas etc), thorough review of various surveys (Bench mark survey, Profile survey, Topographic survey, etc.)
·      Frequent field visits to spot check of on-going civil as well as the earthen works on the watercourses under improvements to ensure quality and quantity of work as per project standards and specifications.
·      Verification of Interim payments Certificates, Final verification of completed watercourses and recommended payments to contractors.
·      Made random lab testing of material used in allied structures and earthen work to confirm the compliance of prescribed standards/specifications.
·      Prepared data base and documented as required by client or Team Leader.
·      Participated progress review meetings with Client.
·      Daily, weekly and monthly visit reports.
·      Meeting with Contractors, Water User Associations (WUA) for smooth execution of schemes.
·         Supervision of Form to market Link Road i.e  earth work and multi cell box culvert to ensure all works carried out in accordance with project planes and specification.
·         Review and process ‘Request for Inspections (RFIs)’ on daily bases.
·         Ensured materials and construction for watercourse and FMR Link Road as per design and specification.

Position Held and Description of Duties
            Worked as Field Engineer (earth core Rock fill Dam), responsible for construction and Supervision of Latamber dam Project District Karak (KPK). The Dam works involve Core Trench ,Earthen Dam body ,Dam Spillway, Inlet & outlet of Conduit  Structure, Drilling & Grouting, Installing of Piezometer ,Irrigation system with Brick Lining, Aqueduct, Road Crossing, Box Culvert and outlet Structure.
              The client being Small Dam Irrigation Deptt kpk & Consultant is Pakistan Engineering Services.
           
          The prime responsibility is the Execution of work as per Design Drawing and quality assurance of Earth Core Rock fill Dam and structure works.
 
 
      Activities Performed:
·         Basic responsibility was to get the work executed strictly as per drawings / profiles without any wastage of Time and Construction Material. 
·         Assuring the progress as per construction schedule.

·         To provide quick solutions to the day-to-day problems cropped up at site.

·         To prepare IPC, variation, Drawing, X-section etc.

·         Dealing and Counseling with the client and Consultant.

·         Checking and verifying the IPC from Consultant and Client.

Activities Performed:
·          Designing and planning of small and medium level Community Physical Infrastructure (CPI) projects (such as, Schools Rehabilitation & Reconstruction, Flood protection walls, Irrigation Channels, Drinking Water Supply Schemes, Sanitation, Road and other community projects.
·         Design structural drawings as well as create bills of quantity, material specifications lists, and other technical documentation relating to infrastructure work.
·         Quality and Quantity assurance.
·         Conduct regular inspection of ongoing CPIs to ensure all works carried out In accordance with project plans and specifications.
·         Assist in the tracking of financial expenditure of all program funds in area of responsibility.
·         Train to community about operation and maintenance of the Project.
·         Daily Progress Report (DPR), Monthly Progress Report (MPR) and Quarterly Progress Report (QPR) to the Programme Officer & District Programme Manager.
