At the time when I joined Skills International, there was only one centre offering City & Guilds qualifications. With effective business strategy & team efforts, within 4 years we were able to build a network of more than 200 centres located all over Pakistan.
Many of centres geared-up to map & implement International best practices.
SKILLS was recognized in Pakistan market as one of the leading consultancy arms & was engaged in several Projects.
Raised the company turn-over from almost zero to best performing in South Asia region within 04 years of time.
Was engaged to;
· Establish Integrated Business model of Commercial Agriculture Farming, Dairy & Livestock and Retail Outlets under farm to fork approach.
· Setup & run demonstration centre to showcase agri products & processing units including but not limited to milk pasteurizing plant, packaging units, value added F&V, automated green-houses, fertigation system, grain grinders etc.
· Develop business collaborations with leading R&D organizations, donor agencies (mainly USAID’s AMD, PEEP & PATTA), SME, Public Sector entities & Educational Institutions.
· To plan & lead International business collaborations with Fera/Stock Bridge Technology Centre (UK), Chinese Firms under Chinese Ambassador’s Special Programme, Horti-Centre (Netherlands), Yuksul (Turkey), CIC (Sri Lanka) & UAE based businesses.
· Devise & implement cooperative/community farming practices with successfully linking them with high-end commercial markets. Hold capacity building programmes.
Manage the Project portfolio around USD 10 million.
Under the Project, Government of the Punjab facilitated public sector Universities to better prepare their graduates for public & private sector employment and entrepreneurial opportunities. In this regard, Career Development Cells (CDCs) were established by the Punjab Government in five major public sector Universities of Punjab including Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), Multan.
I was engaged to perform/carryout key assignments such as:
· Plan & organize different Workshops/Seminars/Training.
· Develop Public-Private Partnerships under the technical assistance of Donor agencies, CSOs, Entrepreneurs.
· Develop Industry-Academia linkages.
· Handle official communication channels with different Government Departments & Private Sector/Industry. Generate monthly/quarterly/annual progress reports as well as indicating progress achieved, issues and recommendations for future plans.
· Liaising with eminent scholars, bureaucrats, judges, members of PPSC/FPSC, entrepreneurs for delivering lectures to educate and encourage the young students towards public/private sector employment & entrepreneurship.
· Assisted in conducting Career Counseling sessions & Job Fairs for students.
· Editor of Quarterly Newsletter.
Was mandated to carryout/handle following key functions:
· Talent Acquisitions: Planning, Recruitment, Placement, Personality Assessments.
· Talent Management: Attendance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Discipline & Grievances.
· Talent Development: Performance Management, Learning & Development.
· Coordination with different stakeholders including Government deptts, Projects, NGOs, etc to conduct collaborated activities.

· In-charge of Resource Center which included many books containing (Gender Issues, HRM, Research publications, reports, analysis etc).
