Manager Operation
Key Responsibilities as an Operation Manager:-
Coordinate & correspondence with all principal clients and company’s sub offices for the smooth operational Activates.
Correspondence with the client’s offices to plan & prepare daily dispatches as per their requirements, reply to all Client’s quarries & questions on time with satisfactorily answers & direct investigation to verify and resolve Customer’s complaints to develop effective relationships with them.
Liaise between documentation & clearing department & make efforts to clear containers & cargo within free time period from port to avoid port & shipping line charges.
Supervise to documentation department for Preparation Shipping Documents (Undertaking, Letters, House B/L, Performa Invoices & Packing List) & arrange documents for NLC undertaking.
Coordinate with Port and Yard Staffs’ for the Planning about daily Movement from Port and Yard, & Distribution of containers/cargo to their respective destination as per the Customer requirements.
Arrange vehicles as per cargo weight, Gensets & Technicians for Reefer containers from the reliable contacts on less charges and good terms & conditions, coordination with Finance department & contractors for their payments arrangement to avoid any hurdle during operation.
Manage enroute terminal staff and Station Managers deputed at different stations / locations.
Keep in touch with border staff and agents for the smooth cross border operation and deliveries.
Keep an eye on the In-Transit Visibility Report & make efforts to resolve transit issues, Keep in touch with all Tracking staff 24/7.
Supervise / Guide to the Billing & Invoicing Assistants for the Calculation Port Charges, Shipping Line Charges, NLC Charges, Trucking Charges, Detention & Demurrage Charges, Reefer Cooling & Genset Service Charges and Crane Services Charges etc on daily basis.
