Financial Report of The Bank of Punjab

I have done my internship at The Bank of Punjab, Cantt Branch Yazman Road, Bahawalpur.. In this project the brief history as well as working procedures of the Punjab Bank has been discussed. I have given organizational structure of the organization in this report. BOP is one of the leading banks of Punjab with a deposit base of about Rs. 180 billion and total assets of around Rs.200 billion. The Bank has a customer base of approximately 2 million and a nationwide distribution network of branches. During the last fifteen years, the Bank has concentrated on growth through improving service quality, investment in technology and people, utilizing its extensive branch network, developing a large and stable deposit base. The organization structure contains various departments and sections and departmentalization on functional basis. The organization has a much formulized culture and has a mission to strengthen the economy of the country. The bank believes on customer satisfaction. Staff is very friendly and high committed to their jobs. I observe the attitudes of the employees that were positive and friendly. During my internship I observed the both positive and negative aspect of the organization and I give SWOT analysis about the bank. At the end I made the Conclusion and also give some suggestions and recommendations. BOP has large variety of products due to which they are progressing over the year. Due to innovative products they have got a lot of market share and growing over the year.
