Currently working with US APPAREAL GROUP as DEPUTY MANAGER MARKETING from 21st April, 2008 to present
Responsibilities
All communication, information flow throughout the order cycle (with buyers with departments within the company and vendors) from receipt of order to final shipping of goods.
Costing negotiations (with buyers and vendors).
Detailed production planning and monitoring (i.e. preparing Time Action calendar closure of TA with buyer and vendor).
Approvals on fabrics and accessories.
Order tracking and monitoring ON TIME shipment status.
Monitoring material utilization for every order.
Ensuring all products meet the specified testing parameters as laid down by the buyer / customer.
Approval on fabric quality, color, shade banding and also approval on trims.
Coordination between various departments (such as fabrics, sampling, purchase, production, quality assurance and logistics) for smooth execution and timely delivery of orders.
Capacity planning for the season (in coordination with the production departments)
I am supervising design and development activities as part of the account management of strategic customers.

Skills
1) Communication skill which helps to negotiating cost with the buyer by considering factors like fabric cost , CMP cost , Trims , Order Quantity , Logistics and also the order status.
2) Planning skill required to make production planning for the season, capacity booking and approval on the testing parameters.
3) Co-ordination skill required to make interdepartmental co-ordination, follow ups with factory and customers and root cause analysis of issues related to production.
SOFT WOOD SOURCING
Working with Soft wood sourcing a buying office of COTTON WEB (PVT) LTD as MERCHANDISER from 15 May, 2006 to 20 Apr, 2008.
Responsibilities
Online communication with customer in UK, Germany, Thailand, Turkey (Motor jeans, Stander Jeans, Li Fung).
Making samples according to the requirements of the customer. (Samples are marketing sample, Proto sample, Approval sample, seal sample, pre-production sample and production sample).
By receiving proto sample, Customer advised for pricing. Then pricing garments according to the fabric consumption, accessories utilize, over head, fix cost and profit margin,
If the price suits the customer he/she places orders.
After confirmation of order we look for the company, which is suitable for this order, and provide timely delivery to the customer so that long-term relations build with the customer with fine quality and timely delivery.
Coordinating between customer and company to eliminate the communication gape.
