概要

Lab Analyst:
Chemistry lab technicians assist chemists in their lab work. As time progresses, lab technicians are completing a greater number of tasks that previously would have been performed by highly trained chemists. Technicians are responsible for monitoring chemical processes and testing products as part of quality assurance. Under the supervision of chemists and other team members, they perform repetitive lab activities, such as setting up lab equipment and preparing chemical solutions. They also conduct tests, interpret and analyze data, compile results, prepare reports, and present their conclusions.
Plant Operator:
Tends automatic equipment that produces sulfuric acid by contact process: Turns valves and moves levers to start and stop flow of liquids and gases through converter, heat exchangers, absorber, cooler, and related equipment as indicated.
Monitors lights, gauges, and recording instruments on control panel to determine that temperature, steam pressure, and flow of materials through system conform to plant standards.
Patrols equipment area and records gauge readings at specified intervals for operating log.
Collects sample of product for laboratory analysis and performs tests to determine specific gravity and percentage of sulfuric acid being processed.
Periodically examines emission exits to determine that anti-pollution standards are met.
Nitrogen+Hydrogen plant Operator
Adjust temperature, pressure, vacuum, level, flow rate, and/or transfer of gas to maintain processes at required levels or to correct problems.
Calculate gas ratios to detect deviations from specifications, using testing apparatus
Control equipment to regulate flow and pressure of gas to feedlines of boilers, furnaces, and related steam-generating or heating equipment.
Control fractioning columns, compressors, purifying towers, heat exchangers, and related equipment in order to extract nitrogen and oxygen from air.
