I joined Bank Alfalah Limited (Islamic banking Division) on 15th April 2009 as ‘Accounts Officer’ and while working in different branches of the bank, I have gained diversified practical experience of maintaining Accounts and other related activities. However, I have resigned from this post W.E.F 12th August 2014.
Major Responsibilities:
• Preparation of ‘daily branch position’ (assets, Liabilities, Deposits, and Advances of the branch) for management use/decision
• Checking daily activity of the previous day for investing and deducting any wrong posting/fraud to help management
• Performed admin duties in the branch (daily) that enhanced my skills and also helped management
• Income/Expense Variance (monthly) to know the profitability or loss (reason of loss as well) of the branch
• Expense Approval Sheet from Main Office (monthly) to tell about expenses and their reasons for senior management
• Co-ordination of Income-tax deposited to the FBR sheet (monthly) for reconciliation
• Preparation Budget of the branch in the start of every fiscal year for senior management about expected expenses/their nature/reason
• Comparison of all financial/alike, activities the variance with respect to budgetary limits to check the reason for the variance.

Mott Macdonald Pakistan (Pvt) LTD. is one of the joint ventures from among Mott Macdonald Ltd (England) and Nippon Koi (of Japan) working in Pakistan for feasibility and development of Dams to assist/co-ordinate Wapda. There I worked as a Computer Operator in Accounts section. Different Pakistanis from and foreigners like Malaysian, Turkish, Korian were there working together. Although my designation shows my computer related work in Accounts Section and it is so; But large area of my responsibilities were followings;
• Reviewed and compiled financial data from joint venture companies including balance sheets, profit and loss statements for onward submission/guidance of Wapda
• Produced the year-end financial statements not only for internal use but for other stakeholders for their information
• Communicate Financials with stakeholders as necessary part of the job any new change/development
Again, after Masters’ degree in ‘Banking & Finance’; I did the job in the same company as after B.Com.
• Maintained the general ledger & prepared Bank reconciliations for ease of company about the actual cash status
• Prepared management accounts and performed general ledger reconciliations for ease of both the company and its clients
• Prepared reports summarizing the company business activity and financial position for internal use of management
• Established and maintained relations with banks and other financial institutions as per the need of company
M/S NazmaFK (Pvt) is a Pakistani company with a broad portfolio of importing transformer parts that are used in Wapda. I did the job there just after completing B. Com examinations. My Responsibilities were;
• Assisted in preparation and submission the company’s financial results, and reporting requirements to help the department
• Assisted in maintaining the general ledger to help the department
• Assisted in preparing Bank reconciliations to help the department
• Assisted in improving existing processes and streamline workflows to help the department
