• Ensure that immigration health assessment programmes fulfil the requirements of the resettlement countries, including standardization of all aspects of the medical examination and documentation process; medical treatment programmes and immunization programmes.
Provide counselling of TB suspects for sputum examination and TB cases for TB treatment, liaison with the NTP and private physicians for TB treatment, conduct follow up and deliver TB progress reports of TB cases on treatment. Oversee the HIV/AIDS counselling and treatment activities.
Put in place and ensure rigorous quality assurance and quality control measures for all steps of the health assessment and documentation process. In addition, ensure close liaison with and oversight of services by partner specialists of the hospitals and the laboratories involved in the health assessment programs.
Counseling of pre-departure health procedures to potential Migrants (fitness-to-travel checks, pre-departure treatment). Maintain a pool of medical escorts, perform training, coordinate assignments, and provide supervision of escort activities. Liaise with the operations department regarding movements.
Actively participate in organization of the pre-departure check-ups and perform medical escort duties as well as medical procurements related to the health assessment programmes.
Assist in development and implementation migration health activities and programs on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and mental health in collaboration with national, regional and international partners, agencies and organizations and in close coordination with concerned Ministries and government authorities.
Ensure client friendly environment for all aspects of health assessment process, e.g. services can be accessed easily, are understood by clients, address gender specific matters, and are delivered at affordable rates.
Supervise collection of the demographic, health and epidemiological data and preparation of statistical reports for the stakeholders (donors, health authorities of the resettlement countries, Migration Health Department, MOPHRD, OPF other concerned departments).
Liaise with external service providers, governmental or international counterparts, health authorities of the resettlement countries and government departments, in the absence or on behalf of the CMO.
Manage risks and report on any actions taken. Support the Migration health promotion and Emergency health activities, with the aim to expand and diversify migrant health activities in the country in the domain of migration.

Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease or injury
Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition.
Monitor patients conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary
Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene and ideas of prevention
Refer patients to medical specialist or other practitioners when necessary
Coordinate work with nurses, social workers, rehabilitation therapists, pharmacists, psychologists, and other health care providers
Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
Plan, implement, or administer health programs or standards in hospitals, businesses, or communities for prevention or treatment of injury or illness
Mentoring & orientation sessions with communities, activists and especially women regarding health & hygiene, neonatal care, pre & post natal care
Prepare organizational reports which include birth, death, and disease statistics, workforce evaluations, or medical status of individuals
Organize medical camps in local communities with the support of CBOs and VDOs

• Assisting in dissecting room sessions within the undergraduate medical course and will be expected have a good anatomical knowledge of all regions of the body
• Lead individual living anatomy practical classes combining structure with function
• Facilitating in practical classes on the use of modern day medical imaging, histological structure and other clinically related sessions.
• Act as tutors in module tutorials and revisions sessions for first and second year students.
• Participate in formatively assessed student vivas and play a role in the marking of students’ summative assessments.
• Design and conduct ospe’s, appropriate student workstations and student selected components.
• Lead or assist in other undergraduate courses and provide Anatomy laboratory support
• Participate in the generation of dissection of anatomical specimens.
• Organizing recreational and extra- curricular activities for students

Five months experience in Medicine, Three months experience in Radiology and Four months experience in Oncology
Major responsibilities include;
• Independent handling of emergency and performing basic treatment.
• Implemented basic knowledge of all fields in which house job is done.
• Assisting the senior doctor for patient’s checkup.
• Performing medical basic procedures like sampling arterial tap, intravenous cannulation, catheterization, NG feeding, suction paracentesis, thoracentesis, limber puncture etc.
• Performing basic duties like checking BP, Sugar etc.
• Diagnosing disease as per symptoms.
• Performing patient checkup under guidance of senior doctor.
• Taking follow up from the nurses about regular treatment and does of the patients and making record.
• Analyzing and checking patient reports.
