·         Coordination and attend meetings with Provincial Government of Gilgit Baltistan and other government/private departments regarding electricity management and drinking water.
·         Operation and Maintenance of Dam  and 04 No.s Hydro power Plants of capacity 17.66 MW (both Electrical and Mechanical equipment’s)
·         Procurement and store management.
·         To look after financial matter of the office.
·         Office and staff management.
·         Preparation and to update the dam data on daily basis.
·         Attend the high officials during visit to Satpara Dam.
·         To ensure safety during maintence work.

1- Review the feasibility report, tender documents, bidding documents, contractor’s designs and documents, making recommendations for changes or adjustments to the designs, drawings or specifications where necessary.
2- Review and Implementation of Project Quality Plan.
3- Review the detailed requirements and standards to be used during construction to be submitted by the contractor with their installation and the specifications of the equipment with regard to international and local standards.
4- Review of work procedures / method statements proposed by contractors and suggesting improvements in accordance with project specifications and contract requirements.
5- Review of technical data, designs, construction drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings etc. submitted by contractor.
6- Supervise the assembling installation, Testing and Commissioning of  Generator, turbine, Governor, transformer, LV/MV Switchgears, Transmission lines(11 kV, 132 kV), switchyard (AIS & GIS), Grid station, Control Protection, SCADA & Automation System, Penstock (welding & testing), Crane(Gantry Crane, bridge Crane), gates etc.
7- Processing and evaluation of claims submitted by the contractor.
8- Checking of BOQ according to specification of equipment and contract document.
9- Checking and verifying physical measurements and evaluation of the works done and certifying relevant payments against works done by the contractor as per contractual procedures (Issuing Interim Payment Certificates / IPCs).
10- Assisting in preparation of Variation orders (VO’s), Extension of Time (EOT’s) and Monthly Statements (MS) as per Contract Provisions.
11- Assisting in processing and issuance of variation orders and substantial completion certificates after obtaining consent of the client and assisting in issuance of all certificates to the client for correct payment to the contractor.
12-  Evaluation of EOT submitted by the contractor.
13- Implementation of Approved Construction Schedule and preparation of Recovery plans to overcome the delays.
14- Co-ordinate with the Team Leader and Senior Engineers for procedures and scheduling for the installation of all equipment.
15- Witness of FAT and site tests of equipment’s and review the reports submitted by the contractors during manufacturing of the equipment’s and when require by the employer.
16- Assist the contractors to develop and co-ordinate detailed test procedures for both dry and wet commissioning and participate in of these tests.
17- Review the relevant sections of the operation and maintenance manuals and check that the spare part lists and documentation is complete.
18-  Advice the Site Engineer and supervise installation work at key times during construction.
19- To determine the requirements for the Civil and Mechanical works on site to ensure compatibility and co-ordination.
20- Monitoring and managing of site progress as per approved work plan to achieve the target in time.
21- Assist the HSE team for implementation of Safe working hours during construction, and also during installation, testing and commissioning.
22- Pre-commissioning and Commissioning of hydropower plant.
23- Multiple Units commissioning of hydropower plant.
