Mahrukh is an MPhil scholar working on Interfaith and Intrafaith harmony, peacebuilding, and countering violent extremism in Pakistan for the past seven years. She is insightful and focused with a combination of analytical ability and relentless enthusiasm toward peacebuilding in Pakistan. She is serving as a trainer and project coordinator at Tafheem - an initiative to build intrafaith harmony among various sects. Mahrukh is a task-focused and organized individual with eminent skills in the domain of teaching and training.
Equipped with the knowledge of English Linguistics, Syllabus Design, Pedagogical Grammar, Microteaching, Research Methodology, Testing & Evaluation, Psycholinguistics, Sociolinguistics, Event Management, and Report Writing, she is also adept at research and analysis in social sciences. Mahrukh is an adaptable person, who is eager to gain field knowledge and enhance her skills for professional and personal growth.
Mahrukh is also a former cultural ambassador of Pakistan to the USA and currently serving in Pak-US Alumni Network.
Tafheem is a project by SFEA that aims to prevent & counter religious & political fallacies, promote intra-faith harmony, & improve collaboration between various religious sects for sustainable social peace engaging 1500+ beneficiaries. It focuses on expanding preventive outreach by increasing involvement and recognition of religious institutions' leadership, peers, and their followers via an intelligently designed set of activities to promote tolerance and inclusivity in the society.
