BSS OMCR Huawei (IManager 2000 and Huawei LMT, CME)
Perform FLM, 24/7/365 Network Surveillance of GSM/3G/4G/of BSS network for
Fault escalation of BTS/NodeB/e-NB and BSCs and RNCs using OMCR
Support to field operations for their queries during troubleshooting and alarms daily and weekly reports sharing.
Support FOPs team in change management planned activities & Level-1 basic configuration support to Field operations
Ensuring generation of Trouble Tickets and ongoing activities via Work orders.
Monitoring and escalation of down sites/cells to the regional field operations teams
Monitoring and escalation of critical and major service affecting alarms of BSCs and RNCs
Escalation of outage and events as per defined escalation matrix
FLM – Level 1 basic configuration support to field operations and BSS team using OMCR client
Preparation and submission of daily and weekly outage and alarm reports
Support to regulatory department for site locking (except script running and bulk site lockout where support is required from BSS domain experts)
Queries handling for OMCR data requirement as received from Back office and other departments and Handover preparation for next shift
Execution of OSS- Fault management systems’ active alarm synchronization using OSS tools and OMCR active alarms data. Site On-Air on the basis of updated SSL sheet & Activation/de activation of Engineering alarms as per SOP
Follow-up for exceeded outages while change management planned activities & Coordination with OSS team for trouble tickets and other OSS related issues.
Doing locking/unlocking activity with coordination of NC team.
BSS:
Coordinate with the remote Engineers for the resolution of the BSS and power related alarms.
BSC alarm monitoring using M2000 and Local Maintenance Terminal (LMT).
BTS Alarm monitoring using M2000 and Local Maintenance Terminal (LMT).
Escalation of the alarm to the concerns to rectify and troubleshoot the issue.
Responsible for generation of Reports include PM report, daily and weekly Outage report.
Provide a technical support to the field engineers in rectification and trouble shooting of the service effecting alarms.
Troubleshooting of the Telco and non-Telco alarms by changing polarities.
Responsible for the checking traffic status and E1 ports of the BSS.
Escalation of the issue on the priority to the field engineers.
To fix networks prolonged alarms.
Loop and Call testing.
Trouble ticket handling using Zong Electronic Maintenance System (Net watcher).
Routine coordination with field staff for the solution of problems and implementation of high risk activities in the network.
MICROWAVE AND TRANSMISSION:
Finding route of media on Huawei U2000 client.
Tracing E1 on Huawei U2000 client.
Understand NE’S link RSL.
Giving loop towards BSC and towards BTS.
Know how about RTN 910, 950, 980, 610 and 620. Link protection types Xpic, SD, FD.
Knowledge about cards in transmission and BSS.
Huawei Optix RTN 610 & 620 also RTN 910, 950 and 980 complete installation commissioning and troubleshooting on SDH & PDH sites.

End to end media routing, E1 patching on BTS site.
Installation and maintenance of Huawei DBS 3900 equipment with remote radio unit (RRU) connected through optical fiber to the BBU 3900.Rectification of internal alarms of BTS and Microwave Links.
Troubleshooting all alarms related to DBS 3900 i.e. indoor unit alarms CPRI alarms and VSWR.
Huawei DBS 3900 cards and module i.e. GTMU, DCDU, UPEU and EMUA.
