Representative of IMC Worldwide on DFID funded programme named HUMQADAM for ensuring educational infrastructure construction works are completed to programme standards. Responsible for monitoring and verifying the works, providing technical assistance and other capacity building interventions to reduce capacity gaps by interfacing with PTC/SCs, CCSIs, Contractors and School Support Team colleagues.
Other responsibilities includes
 Quality assurance in the construction work.
 Supervising the works of contractors and ensuring that they have maintained updated site records on site.
 Making inspections for all the milestones and sub-milestones that include but not limited to excavation works, rebar fixing, concreting, brick-masonry, electrical and plumbing works, plaster, waterproofing and finishing works.
 Ensuring that only approved materials are being used on site.
 Use of MIS (management information system) for inspections & monitoring of the projects.
 Design reviews and on site decision making.
 Quality assurance in the construction work.
 Monitor and enforce the widespread use of PPE Equipment & Removal of Debris and report child labor instances to Senior District Engineer and District Manager promptly.
 Verified the submitted invoices based on the joint measurement sheets that were previously agreed to by joint measurement on site.

 Preparation of variation order requests.

My general responsibilities were as under.
 Study the Project Specifications and QCS 2014 to prepare Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Testing Plans.
 Ensuring all the ISO 9001:2008 requirements of Project Quality Management System to be implemented.
 Organizing, implementing, conducting and managing the QA/QC Programs as per the Company Quality policy.
 Preparing Method Statement for every activity and ensuring the compliance of works to MS.
 Briefly explaining the method statement of each activity to relevant staff for their capacity building.
 Preparing material technical submittals in conformance to the project requirements and acquiring their approval from consultant.
 Inspection of all construction activities and material delivered to the site, verify compliance as per ITP, method statement, project specification, QCS and the applicable codes and standards.
 Supervising the activities of on and off site laboratory and ensuring that tests are conducted as per approved ITP, QCS and project requirements.
 Coordination with third party experts for field density tests, NDT tests and pullout tests wherever required.
 Raise the Inspection Request for Works (IRW/RFI) and Inspection Request for Materials (IRM/MIR) to consultant.
 Ensuring the approval of all materials from the consultant prior to use.
 Coordinate the document controls of technical submittals, drawings etc. with the Project Team and to ensure that the QA/QC validation has been done.
 Assisting survey team in preparation of survey reports of layout, levels and as built reports.
 Initiating corrective actions for any raised NCRs from The Engineer or consultant, and implementing a preventive action plan.
