·        Annual budget preparation and projections for retail business. Cross functional discussions and meetings with the stakeholders on the Sales and GP projections. Responsible for compiling and reporting of retail business with Zero based budgeting approach.
·        Forecasting of Quarterly, half yearly & yearly results for retail business to assess the landing vs budget.
·        Supervision of book of accounts, updating & closing trial balance, making provision & adjustments, and finalization of monthly accounts.
·        Monthly management reporting of business performance against the targets, highlighting overruns and discussing the underperformance or cost saving opportunities with the relevant stakeholders with respect to product profitability and operating expenses.
·        Preparation & evaluation of feasibilities for potential outlets with respect to sales and returns and its post evaluation.
·        Evaluation of Pricing strategies to determine the intake and released margins.
·        Evaluation of purposed renovations, expansion of outlets, or any other proposals
·        Review of financial results, MOM & YOY performance of shops, and drilling down to reason of decline if a store is on decline
·        Expense monitoring and controlling, to ensure the year end landing in accordance with budget
·        Other responsibilities include
o   Working capital management
o   Fixed assets management, capitalization and amortization of shop fixtures and fittings
o   Internal control development through policies and procedures
o   Preparation & implementation of SOP’s for retail business
o   Reporting of daily financial dashboards to key personals
o   Handling of half year review & yearly audit of external auditor
o   Timely monthly financial closures

·        Management of all financial matters related to three brand of Master Group of Industries which include Celeste Home Fashion, Marina Homes & Contradiction
·        Preparation of annual budgets with Zero based budgeting approach
·        Management reporting of actual performance against the budgets to managing director
·        Working in co-ordination with IT Department to create new reports, system checks and internal controls
·        Preparing and carrying on the retail audit plan on weekly and monthly basis and reporting the discrepancy to Financial controller & Managing director
·        Assists in the training and coaching of subordinate staff
·        Other activities include
o   Dashboard reporting
Liaison with auditors 

·        Preparation of Management accounts.
·        Filling of Rebate cases.
·        Preparation of all export documents
·        Preparation of documents for import under SRO 492(1)/2009 13-6-2009.
·        Management of finance according to future needs.
·        Filling of EE & EF forms as per requirements of State Bank of Pakistan.
·        Supervision of all accounting matters.
