Currently, I am associated with VanTibolli Beauty Corp. as an Financial Controller since November 2015, managing the Receivables, Payable and Compliance Department of the Organization for all the business. Vantibolli Beauty Corp. develops and distributes advanced hair care and after care products to over 65 countries under the two brands namely GKhair and Tibolli. I am a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Previously, I had been associated with Ernst and Young Pakistan (a member firm of Ernst & Young Global) for over three years, and am well gelled in with high pressure and diverse work environments, with a dedicated and highly professional attitude towards my work. I had been employed at Ernst and Young Ford Rhodes Sidat Hyder – Assurance and Advisory Business Services Group (AABS) as Senior Auditor since November 2011.During this time, I have gained knowledge and audit experience in Telecom, Construction, Power, Non-Government Organizations and Schools with expertise in handling key areas such as Revenue, Receivables, loans and advances, taxation and treasury in audit assignments of prestigious companies. I have hands-on experience of constructing financial statements for financial as well as non-financial services entities, along with handling pressure, meeting deadlines, mentoring and coaching my subordinates and overall management of the audit.
I had also been seconded to Ernst & Young Middle East – Dubai Office for a period of 3 months (ended 12 April, 2015), which allowed me to apply my skill set in a multicultural environment. During my time with Ernst & Young Middle East – Dubai Office, I gained knowledge and audited companies operating in the, Personal Care, Manufacturing and Trading industries in the United Arab Emirates.

Financial Controller
Working as a Financial Accountant for the International Side of the business and Monitoring and Coordinating Accounts Receivable Operations in coordination with Regional Sales Teams across the Globe and facilitating Financial Controller in Account Receivable Operations. My job responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Maintaining accurate debtor listing and ageing reports for the subsidiaries;
- Recording of receivables;
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Analysis on ageing and follow up on recoveries;
- Prepare and maintain various reports such as but not limited to sales, Actual vs Targeted, profitability and deposit reports;
- Reconciling A/R to G/L;
- Raising Credit notes;
- Calculating and analyzing the provision for bad debts and write offs;
- Recording accruals and prepayments;
- Sending statements to the distributors with outstanding balances;
- Settlement of payments from key accounts and following up on overdue invoices;
- Credit limit analysis, setting credit limits and credit ratings;
- Customer Master data maintenance;
- Monitoring sales verses cash reconciliations of the distributors;
- Strong liaison with the distributors to promote maximum direct deposits and resolve outstanding issues;
- Providing solutions to problems relating but not limited to Sales order, Delivery, Billing, Credit Control Area;
- Reporting to Management regarding the receivables of the Company;
- Timely escalation of the deficiencies found in the processes and providing management solutions to mitigate the risk of embezzlements;
- Preparing bank reconciliations; and
- Involved in Monthly and yearly closing activities.
Audit senior
have worked as a Senior in the Assurance and Advisory Business Services Group (AABS) of Ernst & Young in Pakistan, executing audit and assurance engagements with particular focus in the Telecom, Construction and NGO sector. I have led large teams through the planning, execution and completion stages of statutory audits and other varied special nature engagements. I have also been seconded to EY Middle East Dubai for a period of 3 months to apply my skillset in a challenging workplace. My job responsibilities entailed:
- Engagement planning and management to ensure timely execution and reporting;
- Preparation of audit deliverables;
- Review of areas to be audited and identification of risks and controls;
- Testing the compliance of existing internal controls;
- Effectively communicating with the Assurance Partner and/or Assurance Manager with respect to the engagement process – risks, issues, estimated time of completion and any contentious matters;
- Conduct review of the work performed by the team members and monitor their performance;
