PCB Design Engineer
The main purpose of this role is to create Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for Radio Frequency and mixed signals using one of the three largely used CAD softwares namely Altium Designer, PADs Layout and Cadence Allegro.
As a PCB Design Engineer , I had the following responsibilities/duties.
1.Develop PCB layouts, perform component placements and determine wire routings.
2.Verify existing designs and recommend improvements.
3.Monitor and report project status to Manager on regular basis.
4.Attend project meetings to discuss about project progress and issues.
5.Ensure that project deliverables meet customer expectations.
6.Propose process improvements to ensure PCB functionality, quality and reliability.
7.Perform project updates according to changing customer requirements.
8.Generate Gerber and verify with CAM 350 tool.
9.Create Bill of Materials for the specified project.
