I am overseeing and guiding the Maintenance & Engineering division of PHFMC (Government of the Punjab) operating
in Fourteen Districts of Punjab, Pakistan. It's a crucial and diverse role encompassing a wide array of duties.
 Manage and maintain essential building services, power distributions system, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air
Conditioning), safety equipment, Elevators, Plumbing, Drainage system, and UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), and
generator systems.
 Develop and establish maintenance procedures and ensure their consistent implementation.
 Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify and address maintenance issues.
 Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities within the facilities.
 Monitor equipment inventory and place orders for replacements or repairs when necessary.
 Monitor expenses and maintain control over the budget allocated for maintenance operations.
 Maintain detailed maintenance logs and provide daily reports, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
and Building
 Defects Maintenance (BDM) records.
 Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and regulations within the facilities.
 Monitor and manage the consumption of utilities such as electricity, Sui Gas, diesel, medical gases, and inventory
items.
 Developing meticulously planned operating (OPEX) and capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets
 Facilitate team building and provide training to maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
 Establish and maintain effective communication with government departments such as LESCO, WASA, SNGPL, and
C&W for regulatory and operational compliance.
 Maintain the Transport Services
 Monitor resource utilization to ensure that the right number and talent is available for running operations (projects,
civil works, mechanical works, electrical works, landscaping, building inspections, etc.), accomplishing targets,
improving customer satisfaction, and achieving business objectives Monitor and control the execution of
maintenance contracts, review the preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and supervise the
implementation by employees or assigned contractor(s) through
 reviewing reports and spot-checking as appropriate to ensure the provision of quality maintenance works to the facilities.
