My name is Humaira Shafaq and i have done Masters in Public Health from SZABIST Karachi. I have more than seven years of diverse working experience in the field of public health pertaining to project management, surveillance, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and reporting. I have mainly worked on pressing issues such as biosafety and biosecurity, nutrition surveys and capacity building for antimicrobial stewardship across Pakistan. I have four publications in peer reviewed national and international journals and one manuscript has been submitted for publication.

 Development of SOP’s and guidelines for the newly founded research department.
 Supervision and facilitation of research projects and initiatives in the institution.
 Facilitation in acquiring approval from DOW ethics boards for research studies.
 Training and capacity building of faculty, staff and student for research orientation.
 Facilitating faculty in the process and development of research tools and proposals.
 Participation in public awareness session related to health issues.
 Facilitation of the faculty and staff for access of data for research publications.
Participation in developing tools for survey (Questionnaire, training and CAPI manual, Job Aids and Monitoring Checklist)
Writing of proposals and concept notes for grant acquisition.
Facilitate Co-Principal Investigator and Manager for planning, supervision and implementation of National Nutrition Survey (NNS) activities.
