Conduct training sessions for healthcare workers, community volunteers, and other stakeholders on IYCF best practices, counseling techniques, and monitoring and evaluation methods. Provide ongoing support and mentorship to health professionals and community workers to improve their knowledge and skills in promoting and supporting optimal infant and young child feeding practices. Ensure that IYCF programs are evidence-based, culturally sensitive, and responsive to the needs of target populations. Implement communication campaigns and community outreach activities to raise awareness about the importance of breastfeeding, appropriate complementary feeding, and micronutrient supplementation
Provide support to the project team for mapping of LHWs covered and un-covered areas Conduct dialogues with VOs and LSOs for selection of CHWs from non-LHWs covered areas. Ensure that CHWs are selected as per approved criteria. Organize training of CHWs by using the training curriculum and material provided by RSPN On-job coaching and supportive supervision of the CHWs to ensure that they perform their tasks as per their terms of reference.
