 Responsible for Purchase functions of the company which comprises the Local Purchase and Imports of materials Like Solvents, Resins, Pigments, Additives, Extenders, Oils etc. In addition to this purchasing of Packing materials and all other items required for running the smooth operations of the company.

 Primary responsibilities include demand analysis, inventory analysis, planning, control &procurement of raw material & packaging material required for production with constant review of materials to avoid stock outs.
 Conduct the procurement process, which includes RFQ (Request for Quotation), Comparative analysis, Order placement, L/C opening, getting shipment schedule and delivery of material at required facility of company.

 Continuous liaison with international as well as local suppliers, clearing agents and Banks.

 Manage to minimize the lead time considerably by accurate maintenance of stock & establishing quick links with key suppliers.
 Identify & developalternate vendors and sources for achieving cost effective purchase of raw materials.

 Develop substitute or alternate raw materials for obtaining the price advantage and to minimizing or rationalizing the inventory.

 Performance appraisals of vendors based on various criterions such as quality, rate, lead time, credit terms etc. And to conduct supplier audits.
