Major Roles Displayed: Reporting to the Director – Inspection & Accreditation is responsible to carry out the comprehensive physical assessment of the Health Care Establishment (HCE) for provisional license using the prescribed Scoring Matrix of Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) and submit an Assessment Report to the Directorate Inspection. Compliance to MSDS by the HCEs is essential for qualifying to get a license from the SHCC. The Medical Expert is active part of the Inspection Team and should ensure that conformance to MSDS is assessed and scored as explained in the Surveyors’ Guide in true letter and spirit.

As Training Specialist was also responsible for equipping and empowering the medical staff by conducting training sessions in clinical management of the patients and quality health care services using standard WHO protocols and guidelines.

As Program Coordinator, was responsible for implementing the SDM model in the health care facilities across AKSH, P regions and managed their program activities, which includes program design, training and development, granting contracts and budgets; monitored the program milestones and expenditures; prepared budget revisions; provided interim status reports on all accounts to the donors; overseen coordinated, and/or assisted to the management in proposal writing for additional funding; coordinated in the collection, compilation, and analysis of SDM program activity data; developed and presented comprehensive statistical and narrative program reports. As Project Coordinator, was responsible for managing the project activities, which includes establishing and implementing the short- and long term goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Facilitated the community for organizing themselves in the social initiatives, conducted training sessions for community health workers, organized series of immunization campaigns in collaboration with the medical staff of Rural Health Centers.
