Having over 12 years of experience in the Healthcare and Humanitarian Sector, I look for growth opportunities that enable me contribute towards the healthcare sector. A medical doctor by profession, I found my calling working as a part of Red Cross Red Crescent Movement as program lead, and spear headed the expansion of the Pre Hospital Emergency Care project to grass root levels. Currently working in the capacity of Head of Health and Nutrition Department at Action Against Hunger (ACF), my focus is on mainstreaming nutrition and primary healthcare as sectoral targets, while integrating Mental Health components.
I enjoy leading my teams for effective and quality implementation, while developing fluid working relations in a fast paced, time sensitive and multicultural environment. Possessing excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, being a quick learner and passionate about Healthcare in the region are a few of my assets.

Head of Department- Health and Nutrition
Overall lead in the identification and implementation of Nutrition & Health (N&H) and MHPSS interventions in line with the mission strategy by ensuring technical coherence of the interventions.
Identification of strategic areas of intervention concerning Health, Nutrition and MHPSS for Action Against Hunger based on needs and rights of affected population in conjunction with government of Pakistan’s policies.
Develop and manage technical proposals for grants/funding opportunities related to N&H programing, and aligning ACF interventions and Donor priorities by devising innovative project designs.
Contribute to the program integration with DRR, Emergency, FSL, Climate Change and other cross cutting issues with the aim of ensuring integrated and holistic approaches.
Represent Action Against Hunger at national level and maintain relations with sectoral working groups including National Nutrition Working Group, Health partner’s meetings and other relevant forums.
Consult with external stakeholders such as Government departments, UN agencies, district administration where applicable for program design and implementation.
Supporting the recruitment process of N&H personnel and contributing to the technical aspects of HR. Lead the recruitment, training and supervision of technical positions
Provide technical, operational and managerial oversight for improving quality of N&H interventions, through routine monitoring and technical supervision of project staff.
Assistant Director/Program Lead
Overall management of First Aid and Pre Hospital Emergency care program run across the country with support of International Committee of Red Cross.
Lead a program staff of over 70 employees at Provincial and District Levels for implementation of program across the country.
Ensured Field staff was trained and equipped, by conducting and facilitating periodic Training of Trainers and supporting the designing and procurement of required material.
Budgeting and planning yearly targets, developing annual, quarterly and monthly plan ofaction in liaison with donor and field staff.
Maintaining close working relations with stakeholders and line departments, such as Health and education Department, Ministry of National Health Services Regulation and Coordination, corporate sector, , NHMP, international donors etc.
Preparing and regularly updating Log Frames, Database, M & E Tools and related documents for smooth implementation of the program.
Technical lead in various program related activities within organization, facilitate and coordinate integration within and without organization. Headed recruitment committees in 6 provinces for FA & PHEC Program.
Collaboration with Global First Aid Reference Center Paris and Federal Ministry ofHealth for evidence based upgradation of PRCS First Aid Curriculum.
