Team motivation:
I am leading a motivated team of food safety and quality auditors in SGS UK Ltd. As a Senior Food Auditor, my responsibility is to motivate the team to work synergistically to achieve the common goal, which is excellence in execution.
 
Assigning roles and responsibilities
 
I have to assign roles and responsibilities of every team member before Audit planning. Every team member is accountable for his role in the audit, and I have to maintain check and balance on their work and support them as well to achieve a good audit and report.
 
     BRC Audits:
 
In the past, I was the contact person for BRC Global Standard of Food Safety and BRC IOP in SGS Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. I had to co-ordinate with BRC UK and had to resolve all issues regarding BRC Food Certifications in SGS Pakistan. I was also responsible for supporting and co-ordinating with different segments like sales & Marketing, Planning, finance for the growth of BRC Food Certifications in Pakistan.
 
Food Sectors audited
 
I have conducted audits in different food sectors like Poultry,slaughtering,meat processing, beverage processing, confectioneries, snack processing, spice processing, rice processing, food additives, food contact primary packaging, secondary packaging, food compatible printing inks,  food ingredients, fruits processing, sanitizing chemicals processing, restaurants, catering and food services, ready to eat food processing, fish processing, poultry, food processing equipment manufacturing etc.
 
International Food Audits as Lead Auditor:
 
I was the Global auditor and Trainer in SGS Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. Our region was the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Asia. We received jobs from our Affiliate offices in the region, and I used to travel to the region to carry out the Audits and Training.
Major jobs conducted in Siri Lanka (tea, fish, ingredients) BRC, FSSC. Africa Nigeria for FSSC, Ghana for BRC, FSSC, Thailand (Fish sector BRC), Malaysia (Laboratory Standard), Indonesia BRC Food for the seafood sector, Afghanistan for the certification of NATO Food Supplies by a Contractor.
