A communications and outreach professional with hands-on experience in donor reporting, designing and implementing the communications strategy, arranging large-scale events (training, seminars, showcasing etc.) and designing social and electronic media campaigns. Demonstrated skills in producing program focused monthly, quarterly and annual reports to devising the communication products that range from weekly chronicle, quarterly newsletter, fact sheets, IEC material, and thematic papers. Specialize in highlighting project interventions by regularly updating the website, social media by documenting & capturing success stories in short documentaries, giving mileage to the donor by liaising with media and ensuring branding and marking guidelines.
The Communication Officer, under the broad guidance of GDP senior management, assumes
primary responsibility for planning, developing and implementing communication strategies to achieve programmatic goals. The Communications Officer is responsible for developing and nurturing collaboration with other Child and Human Rights organizations to disseminate information and create awareness on targeted child rights issues. By communicating effectively with GDP’s target audience, the communication officer helps build a positive reputation for the organisation and the efforts made in Pakistan and highlight key messages to promote and protect child rights.
1. Responsible for monitoring and implementation of the Communication strategy

Citizens\' Voice Project (CVP) is a US$ 45 million being implemented by Trust for Democratic Education & Accountability (TDEA) under a contract awarded by USAID. The goal of this project is to “improve engagement between citizens and government on priority program-supported initiatives to advance good governance objectives”.
Responsibilities:
Assistance in development of communication products that highlights project achievements to the donor by:

3. Development of success stories
4. Development of any other communication product as may be required by the donor
