Summary of my profile
I am humanitarian worker with over 9 years demonstrated experience in humanitarian sector with reputed international humanitarian and development agencies. This includes Secours Islamique France, International Rescue Committee (IRC), Islamic Relief International, CERD and National Commission of Human Development (NCHD), Pakistan. While associated with these agencies, I have had great opportunity to work for affected populations, beneficiaries i.e. Afghan Refugees, IDPs, minorities, less privileged women, LGBT communities, people with disabilities and other vulnerable segments of the society in KPK region.
Among other expertise, I am true community-driven humanitarian worker with strong interpersonal communication, negotiation skills, social mobilization, gender development, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation skills. I am flexible and comfortable working with diverse group of people, staff and communities at large. Being as humanitarian worker, I very much enjoy my profession which contributes in mainstreaming conflict/disaster-affected populations and other vulnerable segments of the society.

Monitoring, Referral and Surveys:
• Conduct protection monitoring through field visits, spot observations, monitoring patrols and any other monitoring means,
• Gather, verify, analyze and report information on protection incidents and concerns.
• Advocate for better protection of particularly vulnerable group of IDPs (PWSN)
• Increase awareness of IDPs on their rights and entitlements through Focus Group Discussion (FGDs) and other IEC materials in coordination with the Information Officer.

• Collect baseline data on monthly basis on sectoral activities for analysis
• Provide support in data collection for various surveys as requested by UNHCR (e.g. Return Intention Survey)
• Visit the tents for physical verification of family members as needed

Case Management:
• Record each incident and protection concern separately using the standard reporting format.
• Respond appropriately either by referring beneficiaries/victims to appropriate service providers/authorities. Follow-up as necessary, maintaining clear records of all referrals, follow-ups and case outcomes.
• Make sure that all cases are referred and that all referred cases are followed-up and updated accordingly.
• Ensure that newly displaced families access humanitarian and government services in the camp, referring them to Grievance Desks in case of any challenges.

Facilitate safe and voluntary return of IDPs:
• In supporting the Community Mobilization unit, the Protection Officer may ask to support Return Intention Surveys prior to the return process, in line with the Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement.
With support from the Information Officer, share the latest information on the situation in the areas of origin of the IDPs staying
