Arranging travel, visas and accommodation and occasionally, travelling with the manager to take notes.
Dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations.
Screening phone calls, inquiries and requests.
Receives, records, and distributes packages and mails.
Creating Requisitions & Purchase Orders for general items on ERP Software
Creating Release Orders / Minutes of Approvals for Advertisements & Tender Notices to publish in Magazines or Newspapers
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot all technology issues
• Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
• Make recommendations about purchase of technology resources
• Research current and potential resources and services
• Install work stations
• Connect and set up hardware
• Load all required software
• Provides administrative support to technical staff.
• Coordinating and arranging travel plans and appointments.
• Assisting with technical sales, devising specifications and production passports for new products. Liaising with customers and informing relevant OEA personnel.
• Coordinates materials or special projects for assigned technical staff or individual which may include preparing material/reports, distributing, editing, formatting and proofreading material.
• Collects and coordinates data needed by technical staff.
• Resolves problems and/or discrepancies which may involve research and data collection.
Responsibilities:
• Develops and implements the computer / I.T education program.
• Cooperates with other instructional leaders to determine appropriate use of computers / I.T for instruction in various subject areas.
• Coordinates the distribution of computer hardware and software in the Institute.
• Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues.
• Serve on academic or administrative committees that deal with institutional policies, departmental matters and academic issues.
• Provides for staff development in the use of the computer as an instructional tool.
• Represents the Institute’s I.T / computer education program to the public through computer workshops and other presentations.
