Responsibilities & Key Functions:
• Reporting to the CFO & Director of the Organization.
• Organize, Control & Supervise daily activities of following Stores/Warehouse & WIP:
• Control Room (Material Receiving Store)
• Fabric Store / Warehouse
• Main / General Store (Stores & Spares)
• Accessories Stores (Before & After Wash)
• Dyes & Chemicals Store
• Finished Goods Store / Warehouse
• B-2 Garments Store / Warehouse
• Waste Store
• Ensure timely Induction as per PPC Plan.
• To make sure Dispatches of Finished Goods in time as per plan.
• Timely raising of Demands of Raw Materials & proper issuance.
• To define Stock Levels & maintain stocks accordingly.
• To Optimize Storage of materials keeping in view all safety parameters.
• Receiving of material through IGP and creating GRN after QC approval.
• Issuance of material through SIR & SIN based on FIFO and returns from production
through SRN.
• To arrange periodical Stock Taking and take preventive measures in case of any
discrepancy highlighted.
• Timely Induction, Transfer / Movement after proper Counting & Verification of
Garments from one department to another as per PPC Plan.
• To make sure Implementation of SOP’s in true sense regarding the Procurement,
Warehouse / Stores, Inventory & Logistics matters.
• To suggest & implement Effective Measures to improve working conditions and
review/share of Stock Reports with management periodically.
• To maintain Vendor’s Product Range record and Performance Evaluation based on
delivery, cost, quality, rejection & return percentage.
• Forecasting, budgeting & planning of goods and services based on projected
production plans.
• Strong, effective & regular co-ordination and communication with all concerned
departments (Admin / HR, MIS, Production / Operation, PPC, Marketing,
Accounts/Finance & Impex) to keep them update and to fix issues.
• To suggest Modification in Software System whenever required.
• To work with team for better performance & to achieve targets in challenging
situation
