Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures.
Monitor all project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the project output.

Provide feedback to the District Manager on project strategies and activities.
Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities to the Project Director/District Manager.
Provide inputs, information and statistics for quarterly, annual and other reports to Project Management Team and UK Aid.
Participate in annual project reviews and planning workshops and assist the District Manager in preparing relevant reports.
Support monitoring and evaluation of the effects and impact of the project.
Assist the project personnel with M&E tools and in supporting them in their use.
Perform other duties as required.
Develop M&E system for the Project and for the government counterpart/stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain data base.
Manage projects to meet objectives within budget and time frame and report concerns.
Plan and organize TFP at designated distribution sites in liaison with PM/DPM.
Work closely with OTP staffs to ensure all aspects of the programme are understood and agreed and appropriate referrals take place to and from the OTP.
Prepare plan of action for effective TFP implementation in consultation with the DPM.
Supervise the activities of the TFP team (registrar/measurers, community mobilizers, community nutrition workers).
To Work closely with the teams to ensure all children are measured correctly.
To ensure all criteria are respected and understood by the teams, including admission, discharge and transfer to and from the OTP.
To ensure comprehensive health checks and treatment according to the protocols.
To Review the forms completed by staff to ensure completion, accuracy and coherence.• Ensure adequate availability of all medical and food supplies and ensure stock is pre-positioned as planned by discussing with logistics.
Follow-up and provide feedback to the DPM on the amount and quality of the treatment supplies if it does not comply with specified quality standards.
Report on progress and any problems in a timely manner.
Ensure cases not meeting admission criteria return home as early as possible and understand why their child is not admitted.
Through liaison with the community mobilizers and nutrition volunteers, provide effective follow up of all cases: particularly tracing of children who are absent from the programme, sick children, long stay children, children not gaining weight, and children with social problems etc.
Development of fact sheets and other training materials as required for the MOH health staffs under the guidance of DPM.
Provide key health and education messages to beneficiaries based the protocol and guidelines.
Manage projects to meet objectives within budget and time frame and report concerns.
Provide strong leadership and clear objectives to ensure short/long-term positive impacts.
Contribute to implementation of a nutrition strategy including proactive, responsible exit planning.
Supervise nutrition activities, evaluating progress through outputs and impact using both quantitative and qualitative data, in analysis and taking appropriate action as needed to ensure continued progress.
Support the development of new proposals by providing data linked to the assessed needs
Recruit the required project staff.
Facilitate regular meetings to assist information sharing between project staff.
Provide coaching and technical supervision to staff to develop ownership and full responsibility.
Identify areas of development and consequently execute suitable capacity building plans.
Submit timely and quality internal and external project reports (Bi-weekly UNICEF, WFP etc).
Manage the nutrition budget and ensure all expenses are according to budget and meet the UNICEF, WFP standards with regard to financial management, including accountability and good governance.
Ensure nutrition projects are implemented in line with donor requirements and in accordance with PEACE, donor, country and international standards i.e. Sphere standards
Participate in PEACE internal workshops to keep up with changing trends and new guidelines.
Provide support to adhere to the nationally approved CMAM and MIYCN guidelines.
Undertake weekly nutrition center visits and complete the site monitoring checklist.
Conduct the semi-annual nutrition center gap analysis exercise.
All other duties as assigned by program manager.
Ensures that planning and implementation of the project activities are in accordance with the program principles, approaches, and procedures of the organization;
Ensures targeting for project beneficiaries are made in participatory manner and coordinate implementation of Mother Child Health, therapeutic feeding program and target supplementary feeding program;
Supports and coordinates needs assessment at village level and center level, for the capacity building in relation to the projects implementation strategies, methodologies, and activities;
Organizes and facilitates joint participatory monitoring programs with community groups, both technical and management bodies, document lessons and provide feedback to the project office;
Facilitates and encourages regular review meetings and project review schedules at agency level and help the different institutions have its institutionalized commitment;
Develops appropriate reporting formats together with the NIS/MIS Assistant and other relevant technical staffs;
Collects monthly and quarterly performance reports from relevant project staffs;
Checks and confirm the correctness of the reported activities;
Prepare monthly, quarterly and final reports for the project and submit to the Project Manager. The report has to include the detail descriptions, challenges, problems faced and lessons learned in the reporting period;
All other duties as assigned by project manager and program manager.
