Responsibilities:
Ø Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
Ø Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
Ø Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
Ø Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
Ø Formulate strategic and operational objectives
Ø Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
Ø Manage budgets and forecasts
Ø Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
Ø Recruit, train and supervise staff
Ø Find ways to increase quality of customer service
Ø Support worker communication with the management team.
Ø Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
Ø Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
Ø Work with the board of directors to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
Ø Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
Ø Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective client.
Ø Cultivate new sales leads to establish business
Ø Sell and negotiate Cowan Logistics’ services.
Ø Responsible for securing and maintaining new business.
Ø Provide quotes for current and prospective clients.
Ø Update and maintain Logistics Management System
Ø Perform analytical and logistics planning
Ø Proactively identify problems and implement effective solutions
Ø Provide follow-up customer satisfaction with clients as needed
Ø Achieve individual, team, and company goals
Ø Work closely with Logistics Managers to ensure customer freight is being moved efficiently
Ø Receive Shipments or materials to be delivered, and information on recipients, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, and delivery instructions, communicated via telephone, two-way radio, or in person.
Ø Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivering goods.
Ø Deliver Shipments between offices, and homes.
Ø Sort items to be delivered according to the delivery route.
Ø Obtain signatures and payments, or arrange for recipients to make payments.
Ø Record information, such as items received and delivered and recipients' responses to messages.
Ø After completion delivery route all data updated in system before target time.
Ø Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail
