Responsible for managing the AME Unit in the development and implementation of Appraisal, Monitoring and Evaluation strategies by developing and following work plans and indicators for monitoring teams in coordination with the project development and program teams, and by collecting quantitative and qualitative data on ACTED programs and general pre-project data. Additionally, in the capacity of manager, i represent ACTED at various project consortia, technical working groups, cluster meetings and other fora. The role includes coordinating with MIS Department for data Collection and Data entry of information collected through AMEU assessments and Program data. It also requires Working closely with Program managers and Area coordinators to design appropriate information collection tools and methodologies including the assessment ToRs, questionnaires etc., and assist where necessary by translating these tools and methodologies. With regard to managing teams, the role requires ensuring that the Monitors complete assignments accurately and on time by checking their work plan and field reports and providing regular reports to coordination and project teams at frequent intervals on the progress of the implementation of the assessment activities and on observations during missions. I am also responsible for final review of all reports and submissions, as well as drafting various reports as and when needed. As manager, I am consistently supporting AME officers in other bases in developing data collection tools, methodologies of the assessment, work plans, and reporting. I have also conducted capacity building training (where needed) for the newly hired monitors and Officers as well as to orient field teams on tools and data collection. One of the key components of our M&E efforts at ACTED is has been the development of the accountability and beneficiary feedback mechanism. In terms of donor experience, I am very familiar with specific requirements of EU, ECHO, USAID, OFDA

Responsible for developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems for projects aimed at enhancing quality of education in rural areas of Pakistan. Primary focus of work remained on Early Childhood education – training design review, LFA development and assessment of teacher trainings.
Duties include development of appropriate qualitative and quantitative assessment methodologies to ensure proper implementation of policies and strategies according to the project framework; development of assessment tools; planning and conducting learning assessments for teachers and students; data analysis, collection of stake holder’s feedback; designing and conducting surveys; monitoring of project activities and assistance during third party evaluations.

Worked part time as Voice-Over Artist for the DIL and USAIDs M-Learning project for 250+ education videos.

During my tenure at PCP, I worked as a Programme Officer with inputs in the Corporate Philanthropy Survey Report 2008 up to 2011, the Individual Indigenous Philanthropy in the Punjab Study 2010 and the Family Foundations in the Punjab Study 2010. I also designed,compiled and edited the PCP Annual Report from 2009 until 2011. In addition to this, I designed the PCP Ten Year Newsletter. As programme officer, I also took charge of designing various event specific material and handling media coverage and event planning from start to finish including all arrangements for the PCP Corporate Philanthropy Awards 2010, 2011 and 2012, preparing press releases, and talking points for various speakers as and when needed. I was also Master of Ceremony at the Awards event in 2010, 2011, 2012. I worked extensively on the Individual Indigenous Philanthropy in the Sindh Study including the proposal, methodology, Survey instrument design, data collection, training of data collectors and data analysis. I prepared technical proposals for various studies when required.
