概要

I have three years of experience in operations management and supply chain management and currently I am working as a Key Account Manager in the vendor operations department of the Pakistan’s leading ecommerce company daraz.pk (AliBaba Group)
At Daraz, I am responsible for sourcing daily merchandise demand; majority of them electrical appliances. This number, however, is steadily growing, owing to the increase in the number of accounts I look after. Another important part of my job is after sales issue resolution. On average, the cases assigned to me are solved within 50 % of the allowed time.
Before Daraz I worked at an internet marketing company as a part of product development team. There, I played an important role in taking my department from “behind the schedule” to “ahead of schedule”. I was given greater responsibilities and complete ownership of my projects very soon after I joined.
Years of experience in operations management in challenging roles and changing environments have helped me acquire and hone time management skills, effective communication and persuasive skills, structured thinking, quantitative management skills including use of algorithms to solve complex problems and ability to search through the reams of data to extract out the required info.
I was awarded the academic roll of honour and gold medal for excellent performance in the bachelor’s degree. I was also awarded scholarship while undertaking the undergraduate studies.
I love trying new ideas, learning new skills and exploring unexplored areas while demonstrating an unwavering commitment to continuous improvement and carefully calculated risk taking.
The best and time-tested tools in my competences tool-kit are: time management, effective communication and persistence.

This job in fact helped me to understand the values of a civilized corporate culture. The horizons of learning in this job were pretty diverse. Where I learnt working smartly with data; making use of MS office(and other) tools, I also learnt people management and relationship building.
