Job Responsibilities:
o Time estimation and sizing effort for assigned projects.
o Act as primary point of contact for all QA-QC related activities for the project.
o Plan organize, lead and control the activities of QA/ QC team members in the project.
o Assist PM in making of Project Management Plan and schedule.
o Assist Process Engineering & Audit Manager in processes implementation.
o Task assignment among QA team members.
o Update PM on status of running project.
o Preparation, communication, execution and monitoring of Test Plan.
o Prepare test automation strategy for the project.
o Consolidate and review the Test Specifications and sends it to relevant roles/persons for review.
o Review RS and FS and give feedback.
o Responsible for defining Application Acceptance Criteria for the application.
o Prepare Test Specifications and generate test data.
o Test product as per the plan.
o Resolution of issues with Development Team.
o Participate in planning and conducting of project audits.
o Assist PM in process implementation and trainings.
o Any other tasks assigned.

Key Performance Indication:

o Ensure bug reporting through Mantis (in-house testing) and Issues/Bugs List (on-site testing)
o Test analysis, products in-depth knowledge & issues identification skills and ability to resolve complex technical situations.
o Quality of Projects; i.e. Genuine Defects reported by customer(including UAT and LIVE environment) in a project should have been identified by Test engineer.
o Polish his/her expertise by reading books/articles to his/her specific areas,share materials (through emails/presentation) with other team members
o Project Status Reporting for on-site (daily)/off-site (weekly) activities.
o Testing coverage of implicit (unstated) requirements.
o Testing coverage of explicit (stated) requirements.
o Timely delivery as per the requirements for all on-site/Off-site activities.

Project Domain and functional specification understanding
Creating comprehensive test cases (i.e., that provide test coverage) for the application to be tested
Do effective manual & automation testing by covering all the designed test cases & scripts within the defined schedule
Report anomalies as much as possible in the application during the entire project lifecycle
Report & Track the bug Resolution till it closure
Track the test results for the pass & failed test cases
Daily & weekly reporting to Testing team lead using WSS
"Giving feedback to QA lead in all testing activities"
Can understand & Configure necessary operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing tasks.
In addition to the above, you may be required to perform any other official task as and when required by your department head within or outside your specific scope of work in the interest of the company.
