An enumerator in the NSER survey is responsible for :
- Conducting interviews with household heads/representatives and filling the Electronic Registry Form (ERF) as accurately as possible.
- Ensuring all households (including permanent and temporary dwellings) are covered in the targeting exercise.
- Following targeting procedures exactly and efficiently.
- Accompanying the Supervisor during forward visits in the surveying village a day or two before the actual survey starts to update household listings and the local area map.
- Developing a good understanding of the glossary section, provided in the guideline manual, to be able to know who should be counted as residents of a household.
- Attending daily debriefing meetings and reporting daily progress to the Supervisor.
