Coordination with PTA/License Compliance PTA being Regulatory authority, I have been responsible for (in consultation with internal/external stakeholders including industry players)n n- observance of all terms and conditions of our Operating License, Telecom Act, Rule and Regulations especially with respect to QoS, Consumer Protection, Subscribers Antecedents Verifications, MNP regulations, CVAS regulations, and interconnect dispute resolution regulations.n- Maintaining positive and effective relationships with Industry. PTA, and other public organizationsn- Represent and safeguard companys interest before public organizations. Active representation of Company before Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry in capacity of Company Secretary for more than a decade. nProcurement Contracts Management Negotiation, Drafting, reviewing, proof reading tender documents and all kinds of contracts of the Company. Ascertaining implementation/compliance of contractual milestones and maintaining all sort of telecom contracts in which the company is a party, to ensure that the companys interest is safeguarded legally as well as commercially. Resolution of contractual issues to achieve win-win situation .nnIntellectual Property (IP)/Trade Mark Registration Obtain / monitor interest of the company on copy rights, trade mark rights through relevant regulatory body to safeguard companys logos, designs, brands, promos etc.nnCompany Secretarial Practices Organize directors (BOD meetings) and shareholders meetings (annual general meeting, extra ordinary general meeting), taking minutes, issuance of Rights Shares, Registration of Charges, election of Directors/CEO, Change in Articles and MOA, updation of members and other statutory registers, and ensuring appropriate subsequent action thereon, to comply with statutory requirementsnnLitigation Management Efficiently liaise with the companys legal advisers on all legal suits affecting the business, to ensure and secure the companys interest in a court of law. Have experience of managing about 1000 different legal cases related to telecom sector resulting from the aggressive rollout of network.nnProvident Fund Act as a trustee and secretary of the Provident Fund trust to safeguard employees interest in the fund and its onwards investment and settlements
