Prepare activity implementation plan and discuss the required resources to undertake the activity
Ensure the community participation the project activities
Form / re-organise Community Based organizations (CBOs) male/female
Conduct Village mapping/profiling through different PRA tools (i.e. is BBCMs, Mapping/profile, conflict resolution wealth ranking etc
Mobilize community and orient project and organization\'s mandate
Work with community members to map and prioritize community needs
Identify and organize appropriate capacity building, and technical resources to support project implementation
Ensure efficient and effective implementation of Climate Change Adaptation, Food Security, Livelihoods, Cash transfer and WASH related interventions at community level.
Write regular weekly, monthly and other reports (as per suggestion and need)
Facilitation and support in conducting the awareness sessions
Mobilize community groups, sensitize and train them on specific topics as required, organize and facilitate meetings.
Follow the Social Mobilization guidelines of SIF and implement it at community level.
Perform other duties as requested by the line supervisor
Prepare daily field visit reports after commencing the visit in the field
Prepare and submit weekly progress report well on time
Prepare any other reportswhen required/asked by the supervisor
Actively participate in staff meetings

NATURE OF WORK

Field survey and categorization of farmers into small holders or large farms and organization of Farmer Field School (FFS)
Support preparation of accurate farmer lists
Support in organization of Internal Control Systems as per standard
Collect farmers data and support preparation of pre-harvest and post-harvest data
Conduct FFS sessions and provide training to the target farmers as per defined training schedule to fulfill the requirements of organic cotton cultivation system
Participation in fortnightly feedback and planning sessions to share progress and experiences
Maintain record at field level (FFB & ICS file) and regulate the field activities/interventions
Assess the level of adoption/progress at FFS/ ICS level
Identify the field issues and try to rectify them on the spot or communicate to relevant experts/ supervisor for timely solution
Support in participatory peer reviews on the progress being made towards achievement of the targets
Support in coordination and communication among the farmers, FFSs and ICSs
Support the internal and external audits and inspections
Ensure timely collection and incorporation of field data and its verification
Facilitate in establishment of demonstration plots and ensure their care and look after
Close collaboration with the field team of Department of Agriculture Extension for smooth implementation of Organic Cotton project
Facilitate in organizing training/awareness events and ensure farmers participation
Completion of any task assigned by the supervisor/seniors
