I am currently pursuing the Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) degree from Ziauddin University, Karachi. I worked in primary health care for more than 5 years, nutrition, adolescent puberty assessment, and Gastro related problems like Hepatitis B and C and HIV infection management. I also fulfilled the duties of the manager. Meeting with stakeholders. Further, I have worked with International NGOs (INGOs) and National (NGOs) in the field of emergency, mother, and child care. Furthermore, I have skills of management, Co-ordinations, and liaison as a clinician, too.

Medical Officer-HIV at Provisional Level
1. Monthly visit to different districts for follow up of HIV patients
2. I attend most of the patients at their respective places who are not able to reach at antiretroviral therapy (ART) center.
3. To analyze and review the patients’ record to make treatment decisions.
4. Patients’ medical Check-up and investigations as well as making their referrals for appropriate diagnosis and medical interventions.
5. The patients are handled as per symptomatic treatment approach.
6. To provide Antiretroviral (ARV) refills to patients and monitor their adherence. To conduct counseling session on treatment compliance.
7. To identify early signs of opportunistic infection or other co-infections and ensure referral to relevant facilities.
8. To maintain daily patients’ ARVs record.
9. To maintain daily medicines record and medical supplies.
10. Referral and follow up support for HCV treatment.
Medical Officer (District Level) - Emergency Response.
1. To provide clinical services to flood affected people.
2. To ensure mental health detection and appropriate referral.
3. To monitor disease trends which may require adjustment of activities.
4. Anticipate changing needs and potential emergencies and inform supervisor.
5. Identify any report-able diseases and notify supervisor and local health authorities; assist with outbreak response.
6. Work with staff and relevant local health authorities to set up appropriate strategies to prevent and treat endemic diseases.
7. Track daily patient data using tally sheets or other tools provided and submit patient data as required according to team protocols.
8. To provide health education to patients and community members concerning their diagnoses, healthy diets, physical activity, hygiene promotion, and disease prevention (such as need for vaccination, smoking cessation, etc.)
9. To conduct urinalysis and rapid diagnostic such as blood glucose or additional rapid tests such as malaria tests.
10. To monitor and coordinate program activities assigned for the project.
11. To collaborate with government hospitals as needed to ensure smooth implementation and integration of services.
12. To communicate with administration with regards to work schedules, record keeping, patient communications, re-stocking of essential drugs, consumables and other medical supplies.
Medical Officer- Immunization Officer (EPI+Covid-19)
1. Medical Officer in Expanded Immunization Program (EPI).
