Part of Teradata (Business Intelligence team) and actively involved in the implementation and integration of data warehouse, development of analytical reports, and dashboards development project in mainly the telecom sector. I deployed as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer on Teradata’s client: PTCL (Etisalat Subsidiary) Second largest Telecom of Pakistan, on this project I was deployed to revamp their existing data warehouse to the newer version which has some major changes in functional and technical areas also developing their reports and dashboards as per new changes. Below are some major tasks I performed on this current assignment as a Senior Data Engineer.
Data Warehouse Implementation: Performed implementation of data warehouse with new features and details. Data Mapping: Developed data dictionary and SMX for Data mappings.
Migration: In the first place migrated data and other database objects from Oracle to Teradata.
DB Objects Transformation: Writing SQL procedures and Views as per new database environment and requirements.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): After migration performed data analysis to measure data quality with a tolerance of 8% if there are mismatches in any field more than 8% then performed root cause analysis.
Job Scheduling and Execution: Used Teradata’s utility which is called SLJM for data load and other jobs scheduling and execution of BETQs.
Reports Development: Developing the different types of reports as per the client’s requirement like Tabular, Group by reports, Matrix reports, etc. mainly using Oracle Report Builder and Microsoft Power BI for Tabular Reporting.
Dashboards Development: Implementing and developing different types of new dashboards as per the client’s requirement and also performing modification tasks on existing dashboards. Mainly using Microsoft Power BI for dashboards.

was responsible for gathering requirements from business users, analyzing products, creating a custom data warehouse using Microsoft SSIS, performing ETL and data flow testing, developing and reconciling reports using Microsoft SSRS for pharmaceutical clients, analyzing departmental high-value data and conducting data analysis workflows, communicating with senior stakeholders and functional experts, developing data-driven solutions and preparing reports for internal and external audiences, creating data dashboards and visualizations using business analytics tools, providing support as a data analytics expert, and collaborating with business partners to identify technology needs.
Worked on Project:
1. Data Warehouse Implementation: Designed and implemented data warehouse solutions for new clients as per their requirements and business needs.
2. Software Development: Performed development, optimization and implement new business logic and data pipelines in existing products which was Aggregate Spend & Compliance Monitoring.
3. ETL Implementation: Performed implementation and optimization of the solution ‘Aggregate Spend’ on U.S. pharmaceuticals clients such as Catalyst, Upsher-Smith, Dermira, and Medacta.
4. BI Dashboards & Reporting: Developed custom BI Analytical Dashboards and reports for these pharmaceuticals’ clients such as Bayer EU, Flexion, Biogen, and United and mainly used TIBCO Spotfire and secondarily Microsoft Power BI for Dashboards and for reporting using Microsoft SSRS.

While working for a reputable insurance company in Pakistan and was responsible for the development and delivery of business intelligence solutions, including creating reports for various departments using Oracle Reports Builder 11g and Microsoft SSRS. I performed end-to-end data analysis and provided outputs to the business using data visualization tools such as Power BI and MS Excel. They also designed automated dashboard solutions and were in charge of administering Power BI and the reporting server. They engaged with senior stakeholders to present project updates and analysis findings using visual aids.
Worked on Projects:
1. Developed Dashboards for System Administration Security Module: Developed dashboards for upper management to get accurate insights about the security (Roles and Rights of system users and other information) module of the current existing internal Insurance Agency Management System, I used the tool, Power Bi.
2. Developed Dashboards for Insurance Claims Module: Developed dashboards for users, in which I plot different types of Matrix, Tables, Charts, and graphics on Power BI.
3. Developed MIS Analytical Reports and Dashboards: Developed different types of reports like Group reports, Matrix Reports, Letters, and Tabular reports for our newly developed system, I used Oracle Report Builder 11g and Microsoft SSRS Report Builder tools for the development of these reports and Routine modifications and bug fixing jobs on existing dashboards and I used Power BI for dashboards.
4. Data Transformation: Implement Data Mining & Data Transformation project on Policy Management System to find persistency of all existing customers of Jubilee Life Insurance.
5. Data Quality, Integration, and Availability: Yearly financial budget upload activity in BI Data warehouse and its optimization

Responsible for Designing, Developing, Testing, and Quality Assurance of Business Intelligence Specialist systems. Responsible for developing KPI for Analysis. Responsible for evaluating and selecting database/data warehouse components like ETL, relational database management systems, and database design solutions. Perform tasks according to the system development life cycle. Also developed and modified different types of analytical reports like tabular, group by, matrix, etc., and writes complex SQL queries for ad-hoc queries to meet BI solutions. Also writes SQL Procedures to transform business processes for OLTP applications.
Worked on Projects:
1. Developed System Generated Risk Memorandum System: From scratch database structuring to the perfect execution of the system, in this application development project there was 1 partner with me, and we both used Oracle Forms 11g for application development and Oracle Reports Builder for Report Development. Some of the main features we added in this application that is digital signatures will appear in the Risk Memorandum Report if authorized persons want it to approve this memo and also it will generate a text message to person who put their digital signatures on the risk memo on their personal mobile phones as notification for security reasons.
2. Developed System Generated Lessee Credit Profile Report: I individually worked on this Credit profile Report, but the application was built by another developer I was assigned to develop the Credit Profile report which there is the layout and functionalities and the tool I used to develop this Credit Profile report was Oracle Report Builder 11g.
3. Oracle Forms Applications Development: Also performed so many operations like error or bug fixing and application extension operations on existing applications.
4. Matrix Reports, Tabular Reporting, Group Reporting, and Other Custom Reports: Created so many reports like Group reports, Matrix Reports, and other kinds of custom reports for analysis and other purposes, I used Oracle Report Builder 11g as my reporting tool.
