School Improvement Officer (Construction)
Based on requirement develop a monthly plan for site visits.
Thoroughly inspect the sites, make observations and submits a feedback report to Functional & Line Manager.
Understand requirements and develop feasibility and timeline plan for the construction projects.
Making BOQs and drawings for the floating of tenders.
To make sure that work is done in a given timeline and according to drawings & specifications.
Making weekly and monthly progress reports.
After the completion of work, check and verify the submitted bill for payment.
Project Engineer
- Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
- To make sure that all the relative technical documents has been gathered to avoid delays and defects.
- Coordination with supervisors, management, surveyors, planning, safety, quality and commercial teams and provides them with information as required.
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- To ensure that site culture of best practice regarding safety, housekeeping, workmanship and waste management.
- Assisting in producing Method Statements, Inspections and Test Plans, and Risk Assessments.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Coordinates structural details and design features within the project. Conducts meetings with designers and detailers as required.
- Works closely with other departments (Geology, Specifications, MEP, Estimating, finishing etc.) so that decisions in these areas are timely and consistent throughout the project.
- Working out the human and material resources needed.
- Motivate site staff to meet the planned schedule.
- Study the construction program thoroughly and assist in the drive to comply or improve on the same.
- Coordinate with labor suppliers.

Site Engineer
- Acted as the technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors and other stake holders.
- Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
- Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and labour.
- Managed, monitored and interpreted the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect.
- Liaised with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Liaised with the local authority to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
- Set out, levelling and surveying of site.
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
- Planned the work and efficiently organising the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
- Overseeing Q/A, Q/C, health and safety matters on site.
- Prepared weekly progress reports.
