概要

Responsible for the following aspects of the supply chain: sourcing, purchasing, transport, warehousing and distribution. Also involved in identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce the overall supply chain cost base.

Major Duties:

Importing the home appliances in CKD & CBU like Wall Mounted Air Conditioners, Washing Machines, Toasters, Sandwich Makers, & Microwave Ovens from China.

Follow up of custom clearances, submission of import consumptions & release of bank guarantees.

Meetings with the foreign delegations supplying the materials.

Meetings with shipping lines negotiating freight, transit time, delivery order charges & detention free days at destination.

Develop supplier strategy for new items to seek best price, quality and availability of material in conjunction with technical requirements provided by engineering.

Developing cost savings approaches & strategies for assigned commodities and suppliers including negotiation, quoting, supplier consolidation, long term agreements/contracts & other strategies.

Develop & execute supplier reduction/consolidation strategies to meet annual Supply Chain goals.

Develop action plans & manage the execution of supplier improvements to eliminate quality issues & improve delivery performance to meet company requirements.

Establish inventory programs with strategic to support company goals & objectives.

Recommend purchasing management changes that will improve material availability levels without jeopardizing production targets, safety stock levels, ordering parameters, etc.
