Baseline, VDC Formation, Beneficiaries validation, Distribution of Hygiene kits, Dignity kits, Site selection of Latrines, Hand pump and other drinking water schemes, Conditional Cash Grant & Unconditional Cash Grant beneficiaries validation MAM child & PLW MUAC etc

 Role and Responsibilities:
• Responsible to ensure the effective implementation of food distribution projects and community outreach activities in the field.
•Implement a micro plan of community outreach activities in consultation with the team leader. •Identification and selection of beneficiary communities, households, and individuals as per set criteria.
•Organize and implement beneficiary selection campaigns following the agreed guidelines, selection criteria, and templates designed for the purpose.
•Maintain contact with the beneficiaries and communities during all the stages of the project
• Establishment of community committees.
•Area mapping to identify the distribution sites in consultation with the community members and team leaders.
• Support in organizing smooth distribution.
• Address and solve problems that might arise between the community and CESVI, or among community members, during and because of the implementation of the project activities, reporting or handing over, if the case to the project management the most sensitive and serious ones.
• Incorporate participatory principles into the community level to ensure emergency response activities.
•Mobilize and motivate inclusive participation by villagers/ elders and community representatives, in all project activities.

The Nutrition Assistant is responsible for:
· Plan and organize OTP/CMAM activities at designated sites in liaison with district officer.
· Assess, enroll the SAM children following the admission criteria and follow up enroll children as per schedule.
· Ensure all criteria are ensured and implemented by health facility staff (MO/FMO/LHV) and outreach staff such as CHWs/LHWs, including; admission, discharge and transfer to and from the community or other source.
· Ensure correct clinical diagnosis at the time anthropometric assessment and ensure that the SAM patient receives appropriate treatment and enrollment based OTP admission criteria.
· Timely identification of complications, non-responder, and referrals to the NSC and strong follow up until discharge for re-admission in OTP.
· Regular and strong coordination with PHC/CMAMI, NSC and Outreach staff on referral and integrated case management package.
· Follow and respect the current protocols specially Therapeutic supplies (RUTF) and drug administration i.e. for de-worming, malaria, EPI schedule and MNP, IFA / Vitamin A supplements targeting children and PLW with proper documentation.
· Establish good relationship with the relevant stakeholders and community
· Establish good coordination with caregivers coming to the OTP for services.

Team management, training of Community Mobilized, regarding assessment, distribution for the Project components, it includes communal  constriction among the most deserving people of Umerkot, report writing and documentation of overall project.

SO will be responsible to mobilize target communities for their involvement in project activities and facilitate the community in the formation of community organization ensuring their roles will contribute in the overall goal achievement of the project.

Responsible for assessment survey to identify the most vulnerable community in the target area.


Keeping close coordination with community, religious leaders and community leaders.


Responsible for the distribution of Hygiene kits and others Goats among community


Arrange and lead the hygiene promotion training sessions. .


To mobilize the WASH committee for the effective use of the community 


Responsible for the identification of sites for construction of latrine. 


To conduct participatory approach in promoting good water, sanitation and hygiene practices in targeted area.

Conduct quality anthropometric measurements at the nutrition sites on the referral beneficiaries following the initial screening exercise while ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
Compile, organize and maintain accurate records of beneficiaries referred to the Nutrition sites by documenting all the essential information in a hard-copy according to the standard Nutrition recording formats.
To counsel all the discharged patients for further follow ups through Community Outreach Workers.

Conduct FGD & BBCM
Household Assesment 
Conduct training's on FSL nutrition and hygiene promotion to the communities at the village level and community gatherings
Assist the project Managers in liaising and collaborating with Finance and support in the distribution of conditional cash grants agriculture inputs and payments for cash for work activities

Participates in need assessments, WASH activities, feasibility studies, stakeholder analyses and community consultations;

Supports the development of agreements and MoUs with community based organizations.
Mobilizes the community in the effective use of the community resources for hygiene promotion.
Mobilize communities for the prioritizing of recovery activities and strategies. Facilitates the capacity building and setup of representative community committees (steering committees).
Ensure, through daily dialogues and consultations that the strategy of the projects and the commitments of the various stakeholders are adhered to.
Responsible for mainstreaming gender Maximize beneficiary contribution.
Participate in NFI distributions whenever required.
Supports in the development of IEC materials for all activities implemented.

SO/HP will be responsible to mobilize target communities for their involvement in project activities and facilitate the community in the formation of community organization ensuring their roles will contribute in the overall goal achievement of the project.
Keep close coordination with engineering sections for mobilization and facilitation at community level.

Responsible for the distribution of kits and others packages among IDPs.
Arrange and lead the hygiene promotion training sessions.
Deliver hygiene messages to the IDPs community.
To mobilize the WASH committee for the effective use of the community resources and process of beneficiaries identification and final selection as per agreed in the approved proposal.
