Assist in implementation of IOMs Mental Health and Psychosocial support activities.
Strengthen mental health detection and counselling in the health facility assigned.
Design MHPSS activities targeting different high-risk and vulnerable groups such as undocumented Afghans and Flood IDPs.
Deliver presentations, guidelines, tools, and other resources to support theimplementation of activities.
Deliver Psychological First Aid services to beneficiaries.
Provide active listening/counselling services to frontline health workers.
Create periodic reports on Programme delivery,
Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Responsibilities
Respond in global emergencies situations e.g., earth quack, pandemics and in tsunami & provision of PFA
Use of Triage system, DSM-5, ISAC, MHPSS Guidelines during assessment and diagnosis Management of Risky Psychological issues e.g., Suicidal Ideation, suicidal attempt, and Management of Personality Issues
Management of Child related issues especially CSA and learning difficulties
Understanding Psychiatric Symptoms and Integration of psychological techniques for different disorders.
Taking clinical Interviews, assessments, diagnosing, treatment plan, reporting, data compiling and record keeping
Applying and interpretation of Psychological tests including V code tests (Most frequently used in Psychological Assessment) such as BDI, DASS, RISB, and various check lists for Psychological measurements
Applying of CBT, TF-CBT, Exposure Response Prevention, Online Telephonic Counseling, Mindfulness, meditation, guided imagery, deep breathing.
Ensuring the implementation of the daily activities schedule
on regular basis
Conducting regular follow-up meetings
Evaluating services provided to patients and their families
Monthly evaluating the patients progress
Conducting Individual and Group sessions
