Pathfinder International is an initiative of (USAID Mission) to assist the mission in Reproductive Health (RH) and Family Planning in Pakistan through Optimal Birth Spacing (OBSI) programme. Pathfinder International is working in 7 countries. Pakistan office was established in mid of 2002. Pakistan Office works in entire Pakistan in partnership with Ministry of Health (MOH), Ministry of Population Welfare (MOPW) and NGOs.
My role is to integrate Optimal Birth Spacing program into NGOs and Government Health initiatives through training, technical and financial support, monitor program activities, identify strengths and weaknesses and suggest remedial actions.

Commissionerate Afghan Refugees Health Project funded by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Health directorate provides three types of services i.e. Curative preventive and promotive.
1. I was responsible for Community Development Coordinator and Logistics support to the organization and to ensure Integration of primary health care activities into existing health care System. In addition, to manage and administer transport and its logistic Development was also my responsibility; I also was supported to design and manage, in line with UNHCR policy for refugees and agreed strategy, sustainable program delivery. The Co-ordination with Government departments (in and outside province), different International and National NGOs, UN agencies (UNHCR, UNICEF, UNFPA, UNAIDS), District based Afghan refugee health staff etc in terms of conducting needs assessment, monitoring, preparing curricula and all other relevant arrangements was also part of my job.
2. The challenge to arrange timely and quality office supplies, health workers kits, teaching material and teaching aids, vehicle spare parts and other related items through purchase committees was also my responsibility. The arrangement of repair and maintenance of vehicles fleet (40 vehicles), identifying workshops for minor and major repairs and prepare guidelines for drivers on maintenance of vehicles, purchase, call quotation and prepare comparative statement etc were routine program exercises.
3. Responsible for report writing like mission report, quarterly and annual reports, needs assessment report and assessment report and maintaining data spread sheets/documentation of all relevant activities etc.
Freedom Medicine International, French NGO, working for the supply of medicines to Afghan Refugees in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
I was responsible to Float International tenders for procurement of medicines and ensure timely supply to the beneficiaries. The drugs supply chain to NGOs working for Afghan refugees was routine activity. Transparent selection of bids in coordination with all the concerned sections and Purchasing, supplies of emergency kits for Afghan Refugees in Pakistan and Afghanistan, coordination wit Home Department and Ministry of Interior to get permission for national and International staff to undertake field visits, to develop good governance to implement the programs,, Coordination with UNHCR UNICEF and WHO as primary UN agencies working for Afghan Refugees etc were also part of responsibilities.
