Scrambler With DSK6713 Kit

<div><p>A simple voice scrambling scheme is implemented on the TMS320C6211 DSK as an Undergraduate research project. The approach makes use of basic and simple algorithms for filtering and modulation. With voice as input, the resulting DSK output is scrambled voice. The original unscrambled voice is recovered when the DSK output is used as the input to another DSK running the same identical program. The scrambling method used is commonly referred to as frequency inversion. It basically takes an audio range (represented by the band 0.3 – 3 kHz) and “folds” it about a carrier signal. The frequency inversion is achieved by multiplying (modulating) the audio input by a carrier signal, causing a shift in the frequency spectrum with upper and lower sidebands. On the lower sideband, which represents the audible speech range, the low tones are high tones, and vice versa.</p></div>

<div><p>A Line Following Robot is an autonomous robot which is able to follow either a black or white line that is drawn on the surface consisting of a contrasting color. We used L293D IC as a motor driver in this project.Secondly, we used two sensors for path detection purpose that is proximity sensor and IR sensor. The proximity sensor used for path detection and IR sensor used for obstacle detection. These sensors mounted at front end of the robot.</p></div>

A regulated power supply essentially consists of a transformer, rectifier, filter and a voltage regulator. In this project we LM317 and LM337 as regulator for dual channel regulated DC power supply. The output voltage remains constant irrespective of variations in the ac input voltage or variations in output (or load) current.</p></div>

<div><p>In this project, we have designed Simple Stopwatch Using 7 Segment Display & Arduino with Start, Stop & Reset Button. A stopwatch will always have two buttons/modes, a start, and a stop mode. It may have other features but it will always have these. Additionally, we have added reset function too. This can be done with the pressing reset button of Arduino. The stopwatch can be used to measure up to 9999 seconds.</p></div>

Eye Disease Detection using Deep Learning

<div><p>According to World Health Organization (WHO) at present, at least 2.2 billion people around the world have vision impairments, of whom at least 1 billion have a vision impairment that could have been prevented. Traditionally the only device used by all the ophthalmologists for the diagnosis of eye diseases is Slit-lamp, which is un-economical. A better solution would be a low-cost device that can automatically detect the diseases and reducing the ophthalmologist’s workload and prevents vision damage of patients by suggesting the suitable cure for the patient. The Idea is to make a device that takes an image of the retina of the patient through 20 D lens, LED light and HD camera set-up. The image captured by the camera is processed through deep learning, if there would be any disease in the eye, it would be detected and displayed at the LCD with the recommended cure. This device will be helpful for rapid and automatic detection of critical diseases and assists in reducing the ophthalmologist’s workload and prevents vision damage of patients.</p></div>
