I have wide knowledge and experience in Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) equipments using Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) and Plesio-Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (PDH) – Equipments.

Responsible for the Operation & maintenance of transmission and BTS equipment of many sites.
• Supervision of the GSM Sites 24x7, On Call visits to sites for alarm clearance to ensure smooth operations & maintenance in the region.
• Preparing the Duty Rosters, Timesheets, PM Checklists and other monthly reports and managing my team under my supervision.
• Performing Preventive Maintenance of all the Network Elements (BTS & Microwave) at the Sites to prevent any instantaneous alarms on the GSM Site to improve the QOS of GSM Operator.
• Commissioning, Troubleshooting & Up gradation of the PDH Microwave Links IDU/ODU’s.
• Maintenance & troubleshooting of Base Transceiver station (BTS-3012AE,3012,3900).
• Operation & Maintenance of Base Station Controller (BSC - 9120).
• Checking & Corrective Maintenance of VSWR of GSM sites (Checking the VSWR for the Feeder Cables and jumpers, VSWR Problem Resolution, etc).
• Faulty equipment (Alcatel - TRE, SUMA, ANC, Duplexer) resolution and replacement.
• BTS configuration, Conducting Expansions/Reductions as per the work order from the operator and adding TRE’s to the equipped BTS.
• Follow up with Area Managers the status of verbal & written reports of technical & non-technical site problems.
• Performing the Quality work and conducting the self audits to improve the quality of service.
• Receiving and Closing Trouble Tickets within given time.
• Generating Network Health reports on weekly, biweekly and monthly basis.
• Co-ordination with Vendor/Operator for Fault Identification and Rectification, Problem Synthesis and Reporting.
• Entertaining the Service Order Requests (SOR) and Traffic Re-routing during MDT.
• Implementing the Work Orders from the operator.
• Troubleshooting and Rectifying radio faults at the GSM Sites.
• Patching, testing and checking of Alarms in DDF Frames.
• Corrective Maintenance of Microwave PDH links to get the required values of the RSLs.
