概要

Shah Nawaz is a reliable social activist, having a Masters in Non-Governmental Organizations from Chonnam National University, South Korea, and more than 13 years of professional experience in the social services sector. He is particularly experienced in the provision and management of rural support programs and has diverse expertise in areas such as capacity-building training workshops, social mobilization, disaster risk reduction, disaster risk management, education, food security livelihood, enterprise development, electoral processes, health, hygiene, livestock management, nutrition, volunteerism, and gender issues. He facilitated the marginalized communities of Pakistan in addressing their development issues, including community development, women empowerment, capacity enhancement, and disaster management, among other areas which have been the focus of his proactive performance. He has worked with many reputable organizations including WaterAid, UN Women, Plan International, ACTED International, DAI-Tabeer, Community World Service Asia, Indus Resource Centre, Thardeep Rural Development Program, Strengthening Participatory Organization, the Institute of Rural Management, and strengthening these organizations in various capacities. He has furthermore volunteered for the Gwangju International Centre (GIC), Gwangju Cultural Foundation, and the Asia Culture Centre (ACC), supporting these South Korean cultural organizations in various ways including content creation and project management. He has also qualified for the Peace Studies and Conflict Transformation international course from the Asian Resource Foundation (ARF) of the International Institute of Peace and Development Studies Centre and the 2nd Young Scholars Conference at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.
