Electrical Engineering graduate, with 6 months internship experience in network security domain. Worked on Networking applications including Packet Sniffing, Traffic Forwarding and Filtering tasks. Network Security Intern
Worked as a C developer in Linux for Networking Applications
These Applications include Packet sniffing and packet analysis for information extraction at bits and bytes level for various headers (Ethernet to TCP Layer) Libpcap library used
Used linked list and hashing table for simulating the working of a router.
Worked on calculation of throughput of incoming packets on NIC, with multi-threading fucntionality. (Throughput calculation in one thread and stats in another). Pthread library used.
Used Regex matching to look for malacious content on incoming IP traffic. Pcre library used.
Also worked on Traffic forwarding and filtering using SNORT and IpTables
