As Controller Operations I am responsible for managing all the Operations of the Pakistan office, dealing with the Board of Trustees, Overseeing the statuory requirements, Overseeing the accounting operations, cost cotrol measures, review of budgets and financial statements.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual accounts as per applicable laws and regulations.
• Managing sales tax and income tax affairs and approaching for sales tax refunds and answering queries raised by the FBR and filing of monthly withholding tax return and annual return.
• Retail accounting, managing accounting of six point of sale locations.
• Treasury management, dealing with banks for finalization of exchange rate for foreign currency transactions.
• Preparing and controlling overhead budgets, cost controlling as per budget, ratio analysis.
• Managing parties’ reconciliation, bank reconciliations and stock reconciliations.
• Part of the SAP implementation team, successfully implemented SAP B-1.
• Responsible for preorder and post order costing.
