I have worked as Shift Engineer in production department at Chakwal works of Bestway Cement Ltd. At Bestway Chakwal 02 production lines were installed, with capacities of 5830 TPD each, ofvclinker. My key responsibilities were:

Maintain housekeeping and cleaning at the plant.
Utilize available staff in all areas effectively.
Manage all administrative problems during shifts and off hours.
Manage load of operational units during WAPDA power failure.
To make daily production summary (DPS) and shift report of the plant.
Lead the morning meeting at 0830 hrs. to evaluate and discuss routine plant problems and their remedies.
Safe operation of the whole plant in shifts and off hours.
Handing/ Taking over shift from next/ previous shift engineer in CCR.
To handle trouble shootings and emergencies as per guidance of Section In-charge and lead the subordinates during shift.

I worked as a Trainee Engineer in production department at chakwal plant of Bestway cement ltd. Here I had been given a six weeks training and after that I worked here at both line 1 and line 2 having capacities of 5830 TPD each, of clinker. My key responsibilities includes:

Understanding the functions of machine, equipment, drawings and manuals related to plant.
Help out in planning the jobs for proper operation and maintenance.
To assist shift engineer on duty in field as well as in office work like shift reports, inventory/stock management, and DPS (Daily Production Summary).
Read the shift reports of all areas and note down the problems which are in progress and to coordinate with other departments to solve the problems on priority.
To take a thorough round of plant, to note down and report any abnormality regarding equipment in operation. Inform and then remain in contact with other department to resolve the issue.
To check all emergency or planned maintenance, and to ensure safe work conditions.
Physical inspection and deputation of concerned staff before starting any area/ equipment.
To coordinate with all CCR Operators, Patrolmen and all other departments.
Make surety of Isolation/ De- Isolation before starting any job.
Strive best in order to achieve all the production KPIs targets.

I worked as a trainee chemist in Shahtaj Sugar Mills located at Distt. Mandi Bahauddin. Here my major responsibilities, during season and off season were:
1) To understand different areas like mill house, boiling house, and refining house.
2) Ensure proper cleansing of equipment’s (Evaporators, Pans, and Vertical Condensers etc.)
3) Ensure proper overhauling of equipment’s.
4) Coordinate with other departments to maintain parameters in order to produce quality sugar. (Sugar Color, Grain Size, Temperature, Flow rate etc.).
5) To check all shift reports and check all cleansing activities of equipment.
6) Ensure proper sampling in order to meet the quality standards.
7)Plan and implement process improvements for coming season.
