Research&Development Chemist
1. On hands experience on development of several products including adhesives, paints, autocare products, home care products & personal care products
2. Development of several leather processing chemicals including fat liqours for leather softning and various waxes for shinning purposes.
3. Experience on performing various testing methods for chemical analysis including iodine values, acid values, amine values, hydrazine strenght, and defining several testing methods.
Technical skills;
On hand experience of working on many Analytical Instruments including their Calibration, Standardization and Optimization. Some of these are
Colour Matching Spectrophotmetr CE 7000A, Atomic Absorption spectrophotometer. Kinematic Viscometer, Steam distillation unit, UV- Visible spectrophotometer, Flash point tester , Conductivity meter, pH meter , Hydrometer, Refractometer, Rotothinner, Gel strength Tester, pull off Adhesion tester, Dip rod and Sieves Mesh, Dispex grinder, bead mill grinder, reactor agitator assembly.
Intern
Internship was done at AKZO NOBEL PAINTS PAKISTAN (Pvt.) LIMITED LAHORE. The work was done in the following areas.
Raw Material Testing, Surface Preparation, Paint Manufacturing,Production Section,Quality Control Section,Colour Matching Section
