- Handle the Home Remittance Operations and Reconciliations.
- Ensure Implementation of Home Remittance Policy & Manual for smooth operational activities.
- Manage FX conversion of inward Remittance replenishes by Foreign Exchange Companies.
- Timely preparation and submission of all types of regulatory reports and liaison with regulator for Home Remittance operations.
- Ensure implementation of AML/KYC controls in Remittance operations etc.
- Investigation and resolution of dispute report by customers and other banks.
- Coordinate with all concerned departments like Treasury, IT, Operations, Marketing, AML, Digital Banking, Compliance etc. for smooth functioning of the products.
- Cash management & Settlement of prefunding account maintained by local Bank and foreign exchange companies.
- Updating of departmental manuals in the light of regulatory requirements.
- Distribution of commission and foreign exchange gain to respective branches.
- Assist in planning, design and launch incentive/ marketing plans for internal & external customers.
- Supervise Ufone Franchise accounts and Ownership change cases.
- Completion of legal documentation and agreement with clients and ensuring that the T&Cs are in line with the pre-approved UBank legal and approval framework.
- Assist in design and implement focused promotional campaigns.
- Authorizing payments for B2C, B2B & C2C remittance transactions
- Channelizing and Managing Record of L-1 M Wallet Accounts
- Assist in exploring remittances business opportunities and bringing potential correspondents on board for commencement of Home Remittance Business with UBank.
- Efficient processing, monitoring and daily settlement of Home Remittance transactions received from correspondent Banks/ Exchange Companies and PRI member banks in Pakistan through SBP Prism MT 102.
- Daily recon (MIS) of transaction processed through RTGS with the other banks
- Coordinating with Product Team, Alliance Team, Compliance team & Banks Operation team.
- Cash management & Settlement of prefunding account maintained by local companies and foreign exchange companies
- Monitoring of all home remittance transactions Transaction Monitoring System (TMS)
- Providing training to less experienced personnel and assisting in supervisory responsibilities
- Coordinate with major commercial banks, SBP to streamline inter-bank processing, and relationship
- Prepare Rebate claim statement of respective Exchange Companies on Monthly basis for onward submission to SBP
- Distribution of Rebate Claim between tie-ups & AKBL branches upon receipt of same from SBP according to their share as per terms & conditions of Home Remittance Agreement
- Customer dealing both local and foreigners on call
- Monitoring of AML/KYC of all the transactions.
- Daily reports and Reconciliation of transactions processed through Home Remittance system.
- Processing the payment files of Exchange companies & RTGS member banks on home remittance system.
- Co-ordinate with ITG team for resolving Home Remittance Product
- Ensure Backup of the database of home Remittance system.
- Ensure the RPS integration and availability of transaction files.
- Assisting team leader in Comprehensive Inspection of branches.
- To review and check customer’s application and process all completed document on each applicable stage
- Reconciliation check of all I Form / E Form data in Bank’s system and WeBOC
- Ensuring proper functioning of cash, clearing, and Remittance departments in light of bank/SBP directives
- Checking of expenses as per budget/financial power.
- Checking of Income of various Heads as per Schedule of Charges.
- Checking of other operational matters like Security Stationary, Cheque books, Zakat, Lockers, Undelivered SOA, Stop Payment, TDR ,CDR ,ATM, Vouchers and BCP.
- Ensuring bank KYC policy, completion of formalities of Account Opening
- Form and Compliance of SBP/KYC regulation
