From January 2019 to January 2020, I worked as a District Supervisor with the Balochistan Rural Support Program (BRSP) in Pishin. My duties encompassed a wide range of supervisory tasks, from team training to the deployment of these teams. I was responsible for route mapping to ensure efficient fieldwork and submitted weekly enumeration reports. Mobilization was a critical component of my role, as was the monitoring and evaluation of enumeration efforts. Regular reporting was essential, and I sent monthly progress reports to the head office, primarily through the Management Information System (MIS), while also submitting daily ERF forms. To maintain the quality of field operations, I conducted household listings, performed spot checks of field activities, and embarked on daily field visits. An essential part of my role involved fostering good relationships with local stakeholders, which led me to hold meetings with elected MC Chairmen, union council councilors, community influencers, religious leaders, and community elders. In addition to these specified duties, I was always ready to undertake any other tasks as assigned by my supervisor.
From August 2016 to October 2018, I served as a Team Supervisor at CTC Chip Training and Consulting in Pishin. My primary responsibilities included overseeing the roles assigned to AS, ensuring their adherence to the respective TORs, which were subject to change based on the requirements of the CBV management for optimal field operations. I supervised CHWs, ensuring the proper registration of CHW books and validating the registration data. Daily, I followed up on missed children and provided supportive supervision to CHWs in the field. Additionally, I trained CHWs on Interpersonal Communication Skills (IPC) and developed a supervision plan for all activities. I was also responsible for evaluating the performance of assigned CHWs, planning and conducting awareness sessions in designated areas with various groups like caregivers, schools, and madrassas. My role involved micro-planning, preparing micro plans, creating area maps, and mapping and validating the HRMP/nomadic population within my catchment area. I compiled and prepared data on missed children, such as the SMC list, and planned and organized RI activities in my assigned area to address zero dose patients and defaulters. During polio campaigns, I was in charge of compiling the 2B form with cross-validation data from CHWs registration books before their final submission. Moreover, I undertook any other tasks as suggested or assigned by the Field Supervisors.
From June 2013 to July 2015, I held the position of Local Area Supervisor at NCHD in Pishin. My primary responsibilities encompassed coordinating with the GOB, DDEO's Education department to ensure streamlined operations. An integral part of my role was conducting daily field visits to literacy centers to assess their functioning and needs. I was actively involved in the monitoring and evaluation of these centers to guarantee they met the set standards. My duties also included mobilizing community meetings and overseeing PTMC meetings. Every month, I was responsible for submitting assessments to track and report progress. Additionally, I was always ready to undertake any other tasks as directed by my supervisor.
